dreamt that i was going to a lovejoy concert (early entry was £12 except the price went up £2.5 every 15 minutes until it got to £35) and then lovejoy decided to be funky and instead of having an opening band, they had several bands also playing and they'd change with each song. the bands ranged from metal to opera. you never knew who's be playing the next song. wilbur was playing the guitar for every band and sometimes just. choose not to sing during lovejoy songs so it was just the melodies. yeah

might be a hot take but what if bobby genuinely thought he was doing a good thing by not crediting luke or any of the boys on the songs? i mean, from the public’s perspective, he’d be a guy taking what his three dead bandmates wrote and living off of that. that’s weird. people wouldn’t like him. he’d end up in scandals. or maybe he and the boys would become legends for the story about their deaths, instead of their music.
but what mattered the most to the boys (especially luke) was that their music is out there. that it touches people. maybe that’s what bobby wanted to accomplish, to not let their deaths prevent this connection, or to overshadow their actual talent. he was just trying to keep their legend alive as they would want it to be alive if they were, too.
yeah he probably should’ve told emily and mitch, but for all he knew, they didn’t support luke’s music. maybe they didn’t deserve to know. maybe they didn’t have the right to know. maybe they wouldn’t want to know. and alex’s parents probably didn’t treat him nicely, so that’s that. maybe he told reggie’s parents, maybe they moved away too soon and he couldn’t track them down, or maybe he didn’t.
maybe i’m completely wrong, but in my head, bobby really did love the boys. he did try to give them everything they couldn’t accomplish themselves in the best way he thought possible.

i might be a clown but you know what? that scene felt so bad. side characters that appeared for a single episode got better deaths. maybe it was supposed to be bad - to seem real, but not be the end of bellamy’s story. the lack of everything that made sense maybe was purposeful to a certain point.
