LAKESIDE REFLECTION (AND A DOG CALLED PETAL)
āSheās filling in the music sheet of a composition Mrs Harrison gave them when she hears Petal bark again. Julie checks her alarm clock ā ten minutes till seven, right on time. She peeks through the window and the familiar beanie-plaid coat combination is in front of the fence, leaning as heās petting Petal.
āJulie grabs the bag out of her trash can, tying it quickly, then makes her way downstairs. She thinks about getting rid of her dinosaur slippers, but ends up keeping them. Itāll be less weird if she comes out looking like she hadnāt planned on meeting anyone.

ā in which julie owns a dog named petal whom luke really loves to pet every single day, and the two fall for each other over mutual love for dogs, and music. (alt. 5 + 1 luke comes to julie/julie comes to luke.)
