Laura Kinney goes to Dubai to investigate for the case of a missing young mutant boy. Along the way, Laura meets a woman called Polly, the mutant social worker who not only shelters vulnerable mutants, she also has an ability to detect mutants by reading auras from them. With the help of Polly, Laura goes to the nightclub to track down the missing mutant. Outside the nightclub, Laura fights a man who takes the drug on himself. After taking him down in a fight, Laura interrogates the man and learns that he is a client working for Madame who takes in young mutants for nefarious services.

Later, Laura Kinney goes to Burj Khalifa to track down Madame and look for the missing mutant boy. Laura beats up some goons along the way until she reaches the place where Madame is abusing the mutant and human slaves. It turns out that Madame is actually Cybelle the Morlock who was resurrected in Krakoa. Since she is a nobody, she had been bitter about not being noticed by the X-Men even though she died in the Morlock massacre and with Krakoa gone, Cybelle had turned to crime to survive. Before Laura Kinney could do anything, Cybelle attacks her by blinding her eyes with her acid secretions. Despite being blinded, Laura fights off the goons by relying on her other senses. Cybelle runs away with the young mutant boy as her hostage. Laura Kinney chases Cybelle and the boy until she reaches the room where she forces the Morlock to release the boy. A little while later, Polly and the police turn up to arrest Cybelle and her goons as well as freeing the young mutants and humans from slavery.
