Day 1 of making memes until people who aren’t me start role playing on the role play server.
I'm going to try making a system for in game /story time measurements. Because I have plans to set up natural seasonal changes to the environment in addition to having a fun way of playing out long distance travel in game.
I'm wondering if traveling via the fucked up cave systems might be safer for characters than traversing the forest above given the issue of monsters.
I'm thinking most caves that "glow mysteriously" are just loaded with some harmless water loving fungus or bacteria of some sort that happens to biolumines fairly brightly. Plus while still easy to get lost in there is the upside of being a semi closed space, making it more difficult for most predators to do any sort of ambush or to sneak up without being noticed.
