I know a major “problem” was with.. jesus fuck I cannot remember their old Mod name for the life of me, I think it was Graham? Maybe something else? but I think they go by nihil now, at least I think that’s the same person. They went through so many name changes, so I might be wrong. BUT, I think the problem was they told someone to kill themselves because they didn’t support the same views or something. They just pushed them to their limit, and it came out.

I wasn’t around too much during this time, so I don’t have the full story. But basically it’s just common sense. You don’t want to have someone on your “kids” website who literally told one to kill theirself. Just doesn’t sit well. Offsite or not, they’re not going to let that slide.

Also I don’t know if this would be considered, but there was that whole thing with Lillian Nightshade being openly against gay rights. I don’t know if that’s the real reason she ended up leaving her position, but it was a constant thing. People would also bring it up on site and start a bunch of shit.

There’s also been something about a mod or two being completely mistreated while on staff. I would get into that, but it’s not my story to tell. But it’s been speculated with out anything really coming from the ex-staff members their selves.

And for the most recent thing, well, they just hired the worst shit they ever could. I know you guys are probabaly tired of hearing it from me, but what the fucking were they thinking with tarkeli and Zeena? 

On with that, there are a few staff members who just don’t seem to ever be around, so lack of activity and just being active in general.

I think there was some issue in a discord server too with a staff member, but I don’t know much about that shit. They’re just claims, from what I know at this point.

I was just looking into jayfrost due to something in the archive. Seems like they retired this year. Probabaly a choice they made or maybe they’re looking into getting new artists in and Jay didn’t make the cut? Just possibilities, don’t take my word on it yet.

As for Pluma, I really don’t know. That is weird though that her account just doesn’t exist anymore. Perhaps she decided to leave and wanted her account permanently gone. Or some other reason? Not sure, But I’ll do some digging around. I know one mod or other staff member changed their name, but I’m pretty sure that was Cerru, now known as Merilin.

I’ve answered before, but I guess it’s time for an update. And ironically I was just reviewing this a few hours ago.

From the start, I thought Simon was pretty cool. He was around all the time, was helpful in many ways. He moved up fast. Too fast even.. And now, frnkly, he just seems absent. He’s not around anymore. He doesn’t do what he once did. He might be doing a lot behind the scenes, but you never see anything from it. Even with Help Tickets, I haven’t seen him respond to any, but I don’t know about others. 

I’m guessing you just want answers for mods, so I’ll just do Staff. Also, I’m just going based off of memory of who isn’t a mod anymore, I might miss some people or make mistakes or maybe their name changed, but either way, here you go:

Ethulai - I really fucking miss Ethulai being Mod on the site. I know she left not long ago, but it’s mostly been a shit storm since she left. She was my favourite by far. She usually took care of a lot of difficult situations when no one else had an answer, or at least responded to you when everyone else ignored you. She was extremely understanding of a lot of things and if there was ever a time she couldn’t do much about your situation, she would explain why she can’t, or at least what you did wrong and how to avoid it again in the future. She was active in so many things, and she had the vibe that she wasn’t above others. She is one of many few to have the mindset of “I’m just another user like everyone else, but I do have a job to do,” versus “This is just my job.” She was just really cool, down to earth, understanding, comforting to those who didn’t really have anyone, and just all around great. If she ever considers returning, I’d be all in support of her return.

Shadow - I know most probably don’t know her, but she was a mod from the earlier years. She used to do a ton around the site and answer problems and questions left and right. I liked her mostly because she really knew everything off the top of her head. It was just really nice speaking to her about things of the site when she was around. I’m sure she’d have catching up to do, but it’d be nice to have someone as knowledgeable as her on the site again.

Wesley - Wesley was just a GH, but she seemed to be one of the more relaxed, understanding, and helpful GHs. The real reason I’d want then around again is because when they were a mod, you’d she them doing their job, which nowadays, is kind of rare for GHs except Zel, Iri, and sometimes Burrito.

Atwood - Atwood was pretty cool to deal with. They were pretty straight forward with a lot, never beat around the bush. It was just nice to have someone you could just be casual with. I only mention Atwood, because they would really talk to people versus just “being a mod.” Similar to Ethulai, they actually were apart of the community, and didn’t just moderate it.

And lastly, I really don’t have reasoning for it, but things seemed to run alot smoother with DoctorDraca and Ricorn around.
