when it comes to her job, emily is much more the ‘i’ll be your friend who is also a doctor’ type of doctor- unless it comes down to life or death (which, in the emergency department, is pretty often). she can come across as arrogant or even a little cold, but it’s a result of disconnecting emotionally in order to process the complicated situations that often arise. during her last year of residency (that ended in may of this year), she was part of a team gathered by a diagnostician, but ultimately left the team due to professional disagreements, and has returned to working in the emergency department.

    of course, the last two halloweens, his wife has been gone, but he kept it up for his son. this past halloween, he was groot, while his son was rocket the raccoon. he cares about his son more than anything.
