And when I lifted my eyes to your name
Suddenly your heart showed me my wayâ

...Dare to Love: Part 1/1âŚ
Emma settled next to Killian on the couch, her hand moving to stroke the hair at the nape of his neck. Â
âSo Henry is spending the whole weekend at Reginaâs. Â We have the entire house to ourselves for the first time in our six month old marriage. Â Whatever should we do?â she whispered in his ear.
Killian felt his breath catch in his chest at the pure lust in his wifeâs voice. Â He lifted the remote and turned off the television. Â He then turned to her, meeting her eyes. Â His tongue darted out to lick at his lips and Emma felt herself begin to grow wet at the mere sight.
âWell, love, I believe I can think of a thing or two to occupy ourselves,â he said.
Emma smiled, arching an eyebrow. Â âCare to make it interesting?â
âHow so?â
âWe play truth or dare,â she said. Â
Killianâs brow creased. âIâm afraid Iâm not familiar with that game.â
Emma shrugged. Â âItâs exactly what it sounds like. Â You can either choose truth or dare. Â Truth means you have to answer any question truthfully. Â Dare means you have to accept any challenge.â
Killian offered her a lopsided grin. Â âWell, you know I love a challenge.â
Emma smiled. Â âGreat,â she said. Â
She stood up and found her laptop. Â In minutes, she had printed a sheet of truth questions and dare challenges designed specifically for married couples. Â She figured this would make it more interesting than producing them themselves. Emma quickly cut them up into strips and then retreated to the kitchen to retrieve two bowls. Â She returned to the living room and placed the bowls down on the table. Â She put all of the truth strips in one and the dares in another. Â
âAll set,â she said, turning to her husband.
âPerhaps you should go first since Iâve never played this game before,â he suggested.
Emma nodded. âOkay,â she agreed. Â âI choose truth,â she said and then pulled a strip out of the bowl.
Emma read the strip aloud. âWhat is the sweetest thing your spouse has ever done for you?â
Emma thought for a moment, her eyes flitting across Killianâs face. Â âHmm, this is hard. Â You always do sweet things for me.â
Killian smiled and lifted his hand to caress her cheek. Â âGet used to it, love. Â There is a lifetime of sweet gestures in your future.â
A smile spread across her lips. Â âObviously, big gestures like trading your ship for me are incredibly sweet, but I think itâs the small, everyday things that mean the most to me. Â Iâd have to say all the times you brought me grilled cheese and onion rings. Â You always know when Iâm too busy or preoccupied to remember to eat. Â The first time you did it showed me how much you truly cared.â
Killian shrugged. Â âI also know how grumpy you get when youâre hungry. Â Itâs really for the protection of all.â
Emma laughed and gently swatted his arm. Â âYour turn,â she said.
âTruth,â he said and pulled out a strip. Â âWhat was your first impression of your spouse?â he read.
His eyes lifted to his wifeâs and a slow grin appeared on his lips.
âBe nice,â she said with a chuckle.
He tilted his head to the side. Â âSo is this before or after you held a knife to my throat and tied me to a tree?â
âYour call,â she replied with a shrug. Â
He bobbed his head. Â âWell, when I first laid eyes on you, I knew you were the most beautiful lass in all the realms.â
Emma felt a blush creep into her cheeks. Â
âAnd then after you held a knife to my throat and tied me to a tree, I knew you were the strongest and bravest lass Iâd ever met. Â And I wanted nothing more than to get to know you.â
âAnd know me you did,â she said, bringing her hand to his and squeezing. Â
She smiled and said, âMy turn. Â Dare.â
Killian waggled his eyebrows as she pulled out a slip.
âKiss your favourite part of your spouse,â Emma read.
Killian grinned at her, as Emmaâs gaze slowly perused her husbandâs gorgeous figure.
âHmm,â she said, scooting closer to him. Â âSo many choices.â
She brought her hand up to his chest and allowed it to trail down his shirt. Â She skirted it along his arm, pausing to caress his hook, and then moved to his thigh. Â Emmaâs fingers danced along his thigh until she allowed her hand to rest on his crotch. Â Killian sucked in a breath as she palmed him through his jeans and felt him begin to grow hard. Â
She leaned towards him, her face nearing his, her breath a whisper on his skin. Â Her lips bypassed his and then came to rest on the scar on his right cheek. Â Killianâs eyes fluttered closed as his wife gently pressed a kiss to the scar. Â It surprised him that this was her favorite part of him.
She slowly pulled back and he opened his eyes, meeting her gaze.
âMy scar? Â I had no idea,â he said.
Emma smiled, bringing her thumb up to run along it. Â It wasnât until about a year into their relationship that he revealed how he had received the scar. Â Emma had always assumed it was the result of a fight during his pirating days. Â She couldnât have been more wrong. Â He had suffered the scar at eight years old while enslaved on a ship. Â He had missed a spot while scrubbing the deck, so his master had taken a shard of glass from a broken bottle and punished him by slicing him across his cheek.
Killian dropped his eyes. âI detest it. Â Every time I look in the mirror, it makes my stomach turn.â
Emma brought her hand to his chin and lifted his head so he met her eyes. Â âYou are the most handsome man Iâve ever seen, Killian. Â And this scar only makes you more beautiful to me. Â Itâs a reminder of the terrible things you had to endure, the darkness that you had to battle, and how you came out on the other side of it all. Â Itâs not something to be ashamed of. Â You should be proud of it. Â You should wear it like a badge of honor.â
Killian felt his lips slide into a slight smile. Â âI suppose I never looked at it that way before. Â You always have helped me see things in a different light, love,â he said.
Emma smiled and then lowered her voice. Â âMaybe later I can show you my other favorite parts.â
âI look forward to it,â he replied with a grin.
âYour turn,â she said.
âDare,â Killian said, as he pulled a piece of paper out of the bowl.
âWhisper something in your spouseâs ear that will turn them on,â he read.
Killianâs eyebrows darted upwards and his tongue lashed at his lips. Â Emma felt herself getting turned on just by the sight of her husband. Â He leaned forward, his warm breath on her ear sending shivers down her spine. Â
He purred into her ear. âI want to taste every part of you. Â I want to hear you scream my name with my head between your thighs and my tongue inside of you.â
Emma felt her panties flood with arousal at his words. Â She sucked in a deep, calming breath. Â Killian pulled back and smiled, as her skin grew heated. Â
âYou okay there, Swan?â he asked.
Emma nodded. Â âYup, fine. Â Uh, truth,â she said, needing a moment to recover from his dare.
She pulled out a truth slip and read, âHow soon did you realize you were in love with your partner?â
Emma smiled, as her tongue clicked at the roof of her mouth. Â She scanned her husbandâs face. Â âWell, Iâd say there was a lot of denial going on for a long time.â
âIâd say thatâs accurate.â
âBut I think I knew in my heart when you admitted you traded your ship for me that I was in love with you,â she said.
Killian smiled. Â It was the moment their relationship really began. Â He would still have to knock down many more of her walls and they would have to overcome many obstacles, but that was the moment when everything changed. Â
âI knew how important the Jolly Roger was to you. Â It was your home. Â And to know that you sacrificed it to find me, to help me and my family. Â It showed me that you truly had changed and it allowed me to open my heart to you, despite how scared I was.â
Killian linked their fingers together and then lifted her hand to his lips. Â He placed a soft kiss on her knuckles.
âAnd I will be eternally grateful you did,â he whispered.
Emma smiled as Killian released her hand and then dipped his into the truth bowl.
âWhat is your favourite thing about your spouse?â he said.
He lifted his eyes to his wifeâs. Â âI couldnât possibly pick just one,â he said sincerely.
Emma tilted her head to the side and shrugged her shoulders. Â âI guess you lose then.â
His eyes widened. âI suppose I will have to force myself to choose from the hundreds of things I adore about you then.â Â He paused for a long moment. Â âYour strength,â he finally said.
Emma smiled, as she brought her hand up to his cheek and stroked it.
âYou are the strongest woman I have ever met, Emma. Â You have been through so much in your life. Â It would have destroyed most people, but it only made you stronger.â
âThank you,â she whispered. âDare,â she said, pulling out a strip of paper.
âTake off your spouseâs shirt using only your teeth,â Emma read.
Killianâs eyebrows danced in delight. Â âI rather enjoy the dares,â he said.
Emmaâs brow furrowed. Â âWell, this isnât exactly fair. Â Youâre wearing a vest and a shirt.â
âAre you admitting defeat?â he asked.
Emma shook her head sharply. Â âNever,â she said firmly.
Emma shifted on the couch and maneuvered herself so she was straddling her husbandâs thighs. Â She gave him a devilish grin before dipping her head down to his chest. Â Her hands moved to grip his hips, as Killian sucked in a breath and tangled his hand in her golden locks. Â Thankfully, his vest was held closed by a zipper. Â Â Emmaâs lips wrapped around the zipper pull and then she took the metal between her teeth. Â Slowly, she lowered the zipper until his vest fell open. Â She then moved her mouth up to his collarbone, pausing a moment to lick the skin there and then place a kiss at the chest hair peeking out. Â As her mouth moved to the first button, her hand moved from his hip to his clothed cock. Â Â She rubbed him through the material, as her teeth gripped the fabric of his shirt and then pulled so the button slipped through the hole.
âBloody hell,â he breathed, as he cupped the back of her head. Â
Emma continued moving downwards. Â She held the button between her teeth and slipped it through the next hole, as she continued to stroke him. Â Killianâs head fell back and his eyes slipped closed. Â After a few more minutes of her delicious torture, his shirt fell open, revealing his glorious, toned chest sprinkled with dark hair. Â Emma smiled and pressed a kiss to his skin. Â She trailed her kisses all the way down, pausing at his belt buckle.
âYou better stop now, love, or this game is going to be over very soon,â he said.
Emma looked up at him through her lashes. Â âWould that be so bad? Â We can continue tomorrow. Â Remember, we have the whole weekend.â
Killianâs lips slipped into a grin. Â âBrilliant idea.â
Emma smiled and quickly pushed his shirt and vest off of him. Â Â She dropped to her knees before moving to his belt, undoing it, and throwing it behind her. Â She undid the button on his jeans and then pulled the zipper down. Â She smiled as his cock sprung free. Â Every once in awhile he still liked to go commando. Â
Emma wasted no time in placing her mouth on him. Her tongue ran along his shaft and then swirled around his head.
Killian moaned, as he cupped the back of her head. Â Emma bobbed her head, taking in as much of him as she could. Â
âWant to come inside you,â he managed to say.
Emma smiled around him, as she released him with a pop. Â She crawled back up his body, pausing to lift her dress and drop her panties to the ground. Â Â She then settled over her husbandâs lap. Â Killian brought his hand up to her cup her mound and then slipped a finger inside her. Â
âSo wet already,â he groaned. Â
Emma sighed, as his thumb moved to her clit and he added another finger. Â But his fingers werenât enough. Â She pushed his hand away and took his cock in her own hand, lining him up with her entrance. Â Slowly, she sank down onto him. Â
âGod, you feel so good,â Killian breathed as his wife began to ride him.
Emma moved up and down on his cock, using his shoulders for leverage. Â She rotated her hips, until she felt him hitting that spot inside her that always made her see stars.
âFuck!â she moaned, as his hook came up to rub at her clit and she soon felt her belly begin to tighten.
âCome for me, love,â he whispered.
And with that she fell over the edge and he soon followed suit. Â Â Emma dropped her head onto his shoulder for a moment, before moving her lips to his and slipping her tongue inside his mouth.
âThat was amazing,â she breathed, as she pulled back and rested her forehead against his.
âI love this game,â Killian said with a grin.
Emma laughed and kissed him again.
âŚ
The following night, Emma found her husband in their bedroom. Â He had put on pajamas: a t-shirt and plaid lounge pants. Â She came up behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist.
âReady for bed already?â she asked, pressing a kiss to his back.
He turned around in her arms and dropped a kiss onto her forehead. Â
âActually, I was hoping we could continue our game from last night and I figured that perhaps these clothes could make some of those dares a bit easier.â
âAh, I see,â she said.
Killian slipped his hook under the strap of her tank top and caressed her jean clad hip with his hand. Â âPerhaps you could slip into something that provides easier access too.â
Emma smiled and shook her head, as she took his hand and led him to their bed. Â She gently pushed him down onto it and then came to stand between his legs. Â
âEasier? Â Now whereâs the challenge in that?â she asked.
Killian licked at his lips and then watched as she disappeared for a few minutes and then returned with the two bowls. Â She sat down on the bed beside him and placed the bowls between them.
âIt was your turn,â she said.
âTruth,â he said, as he dipped his hand into the bowl.
âIf you had never met your spouse, where do you think you would be?â he read.
Killianâs eyes lifted to Emmaâs face and his voice softened. Â âIâd surely be dead,â he said.
Emma felt tears fill her eyes and she lifted her hand to caress his cheek. âWhy do you say that?â
âI was on a mission of vengeance, love. Â I wanted to kill the crocodile. Â I wasnât going to let anything stop me. Â But, as you know, he is far too powerful. Â If I had continued on my mission, then he surely would have killed me eventually.â
Emma smiled sadly. âAnd Iâd be lost without you.â
Killian took her hand in his. Â âYou saved me, Emma. Â In so many ways. Â I was already dead inside and you brought me back to life.â
He leaned forward and placed a kiss on his wifeâs lips. Â When they parted, Emma cupped his face.
âYou did the same for me,â she whispered.
Killian smiled and then nodded at the bowls. Â âI believe itâs your turn, love.â
âTruth,â Emma said and pulled a slip out.
âWhat is your partnerâs most annoying habit?â she said.
Emmaâs eyes danced in delight, as Killianâs lips turned downward.
âYou know, love, you can say pass. Â You canât argue with perfection,â he said.
Emma chuckled. Â âHumble as always.â Emma tapped the paper against her chin. âNow let me see. Â Ah, Iâve got it. Â Youâre a bit of a neat freak.â
Killianâs eyebrows lifted. âI fail to see whatâs annoying about that.â
Emma shrugged. Â âYou like everything just so. Â I mean, I could never duplicate the way you make our bed,â she said, gesturing to it. Â
âA tidy bed was a requirement in the royal navy.â
âThe sheets are so tight I can barely get into it,â she said. Â âAnd heaven forbid I move a pillow.â
Killian ran his hand along a wrinkle in the comforter, smoothing it out. Â âI suppose you can take over the making of the bed then.â
Emma shook her head. âNo, thatâs okay. Â Iâd hate to take away something you enjoy so much.â
Killian smiled and bobbed his head. âAs you wish.â Â
Without a word, he put his hand into the dare bowl and pulled out a slip. Â âTurn your spouse on without touching them or saying a word,â he read.
Emma smiled, as she waggled her eyebrows. âHmm, I like that one. Â Itâs quite a challenge.â
Killian leaned in close to her, his breath brushing across her lips. Â âAye, that it is.â
Emma watched as he brought his hand and hook to his shirt and lifted it above his head. Â He tossed the shirt onto the floor, as Emmaâs eyes roamed his bare chest. Â She ached to touch him, to run her fingers through the hair and over his hard muscles. Â Killian grinned at her and then slipped his hand beneath the waistband of his lounge pants. Â Â Emma watched as his hand slowly disappeared. Â Â He began to stroke himself, his head lolling back and his eyes slipping shut. Â Emma felt her panties flood as she watched him harden, his arousal tenting his thin cotton pants. Â
His eyes opened and he grinned at her, as he slowly stroked himself to completion, mouthing her name silently. Â He removed his hand, reached over to the night table and grabbed a few tissues. Â He slipped his hand back into his pants and cleaned himself up as best he could, before discarding the tissues.
âSo, love,â he began, turning to her, âdid I meet the challenge?â
Emma shook her head. âNope, did nothing for me.â
Killianâs tongue darted out, moistening his lips. Â He reached out, his hand dipping down between her legs. Â He could feel her wetness even through her jeans.
âLiar,â he whispered before pressing a kiss to her lips.
Emma giggled, as she wrapped her arms around his neck and he pressed his palm against her center, the rough material scraping her clit. Â
âFine, you win,â she admitted.
âThe game?â he asked, pulling back.
âThe round,â she clarified. Â
Killian pulled back and nodded. âYour turn.â
âTruth,â Emma said and pulled out a piece of paper. Â âWhat is the sexiest thing about your spouse?â she said.
Killian grinned, as she smiled at him, her eyes scanning his body. âNow that is a challenge. Â I donât see how you could possibly pick one thing.â
She ran her hands down his chest. Â âYou possess many physical attributes that are sexy as hell.â
âAye,â he said.
She tilted her head, as she lifted her hand to stroke his cheek. Â âBut the sexiest thing about you is the way you love me,â she said softly.
Killian arched an eyebrow. Â âIs that so?â
She nodded. Â âYes. Â You love me unconditionally, Killian. Â You embrace my flaws. Â You build me up when I am down. Â You make me feel safe. Â I donât mean physically, but emotionally. Â Before you, I could never open myself up to anyone. Â But you broke down my walls and showed me it was okay to be vulnerable. That it didnât make me weak. Â It made me stronger. Â And the way you believe in me even when I donât believe in myself is amazing.â
âYouâre the amazing one, Swan,â he said, pressing a kiss to her lips. Â
Emma smiled and then watched as he pulled a slip from the truth bowl.
âWhich of your spouseâs body parts do you love the most?â he said.
Killianâs tongue slowly swiped across his lips, as his eyes washed over his wifeâs body appreciatively. Â
âWell, now that is an extremely difficult query,â he said, as Emma blushed under his gaze. Â âSo much to love.â
He reached out and brought his hand to her face. Â His thumb swept below her eye. Â âPerhaps itâs your beautiful eyes and the love I see in them when you look at me.â
His thumb moved down and ran along her lips, as she sucked in a shaky breath. âOr perhaps itâs your mouth. Â The way your lips feels against mine or the wicked things it does to me.â
His hand moved lower, cupping her breast through her tank and brushing his thumb across her nipple. Â âOr perhaps itâs your gorgeous breasts. Â How they feel in my hands and the way your nipples feel against my tongue.â
Emma moaned as he dipped his head down and latched onto her nipple through her tank and lace bra. Â She brought her hand to his head to keep him there, but he was soon on the move. Â Â He kissed his way down her stomach, pausing at her most intimate area as he looked up at her.
âOr it could be your cunt. Â How warm and wet it is when I am inside you. Â How you feel wrapped around my cock. Â How we fit perfectly together. Â How you taste on my tongue.â
âOh God,â Emma said, as he placed a kiss to her center and she felt her clit begin to throb.
She felt his hand move behind her, cupping her ass. Â âOr maybe itâs these perfect globes. Â How they fit in my hand. Â How they look when I am taking you from behind.â
His lips moved to her thigh and he kissed down her leg. Â Emma wanted to shove the jeans off so she could feel his lips and the rough scrape of his whiskers on her skin. Â
âOr it could be your long legs and how they feel wrapped around me as I thrust in and out of you.â
Emma sighed, threading her fingers into his hair. Â âPick one,â she breathed.
He kissed his way back up her other leg and pushed her tank up to just below her breasts. Â He pressed a kiss to her flat stomach, his thumb running across the faint stretch marks left from her pregnancy. Â
âBut if I had to choose, I think Iâd have to pick your stomach, love.â
Emmaâs eyes widened in surprise as she looked down at him. Â âReally? Â Why?â
âThese,â he said, tracing his finger across the stretch marks. Â
âThe stretch marks from my pregnancy? But theyâre so ugly.â
He shook his head. âOn the contrary. Â You may see them as the one imperfection on an otherwise flawless body, but I donât see them that way at all.â
âHow do you see them?â she asked, as he brought his hook to one and gently ran it across it.
âAs a symbol of your strength. Â You were a scared teenager all alone and pregnant in jail. Â And you did the hardest thing any mother could ever do. Â You gave your child up so he could have a better life. Â You may think that meant you were weak, love, but it was a sign of strength. Â And every time I look at them when we make love I think of how much you had to overcome.â
Emma shook her head, as she blinked back tears. Â âOnly you could make me appreciate my stretch marks.â
He bobbed his head and pressed a kiss to one. Â âAnd now that weâre married, when I look at them, I think of how one day you will carry our child, but this time you wonât be alone. Â This time, youâll get to experience all of those moments you missed with Henry and weâll share them together.â
Emma cupped his face and dragged his body upwards until his lips met hers.
âI love you so much,â she whispered.
âI love you, too.â
She gave him one last kiss before saying, âDare,â and pulling out a slip of paper.
âGive your spouse a lap dance,â she read.
Killianâs lips spread into a huge grin. âI need to thank whoever came up with these.â
Emma smiled, as she climbed off the bed and Killian scooted to the end. Â She turned her back to him, bending over so he had a good view of her ass. Â Killian brought his hand up to caress it.
âI think youâre wearing far too much clothes, love,â he said. Â
Emma swatted him away. âNo touching.â
âBloody hell, woman,â he whined.
Emma laughed as she lowered herself down onto his lap. Â She ran her bottom over his cock, smiling as she felt it spring to life again. Â Spreading her legs, she ground her center down on him. Â She felt her panties flood again as she rotated her hips and had to bite her lip to stifle a moan. She slowly turned around and looped her arms around his neck, as he brought his hook and hand to her hip to guide her movements. Â This time, she didnât chide him for touching her. Â Emma pressed her body down onto his cock a few more times and then stepped away.
âWhat the devil are you doing?â he asked. Â
Emma shrugged. Â âYou get what you pay for,â she said.
Killian groaned, as he brought his hand to his covered cock.
âYour turn,â she said with a sweet smile.
âGive a man a minute, Swan,â he grumbled. Â
Emma waited patiently and then watched as he finally said, âTruth,â and pulled out a piece of paper.
âHow many days could you go without your spouse?â he read.
He reached out and pulled his wife back down beside him on the bed. Â He met her eyes. Â
âIâve had to go out with you far too many times, love. Â Every time we are separated it is worst than the last. Â Pure torture. Â Waking up without you, falling asleep without you in my arms. Â I never want to go a day without you again,â he said.
Emma smiled, as she reached up and caressed his cheek. âMe too.â
She then pulled the last piece of paper out of the truth bowl. Â âIf you could fix one body part on your spouse, what would it be?â she read.
Emma met her husbandâs eyes, but he quickly averted them. Â âItâs okay, Emma. Â You can say it,â he said softly.
Emma ran her hand down his arm, stopping at the brace that held his hook in place. Â He usually removed it when he slept, but he hadnât yet. Â Gently, she undid the straps that held the apparatus in place. She slowly removed the hook and dropped it to the bed. Â Emmaâs hand caressed the scarred stump. Â She lifted his arm and brought the stump to her lips, placing a soft kiss on it.
She then met his eyes. Â âYouâre perfect just the way you are,â she whispered. Â âI wouldnât change a thing.â
He tilted his head to the side, purposely not looking at his ragged flesh. Â He hated the sight of it. Â
âLove, you can be honest. Â I know how unseemly it is. Â If I could change it, I would.â
âThis is a part of who you are, Killian. Â And I love every part of you.â
âEmma, I was able to hold you with both hands for the briefest of moments. Â What I wouldnât give to be able to hold you the way you were meant to be held, make love to you the way you deserve.â
Emmaâs eyes widened. âAre you kidding? Â Killian, I have never felt deprived. Â Itâs always incredible. Â You are quite adept with that hand of yours and you know your hook turns me on.â
He swallowed roughly and nodded. Â âI just wish I could be whole for you.â
Emma cupped his face and lifted his eyes to hers. Â âYou are everything I could have ever wanted and more. Â Never doubt that.â
She then pressed a kiss to his lips. Â
âThank you,â he whispered. Â He then pulled a slip out of the dare bowl.
âGive your spouse a hickey somewhere they wouldnât expect,â he read.
Killianâs eyebrows darted upward and Emma giggled as he quickly trailed his mouth down her stomach. Â He lifted her tank top, bunching it up below her breasts. Â He then pressed his mouth to a spot just above her navel. Â His lips pulled the skin into his mouth, applying pressure, until his wife was writhing beneath him. Â Emma threaded her fingers into his hair and pressed his head down. Â He nipped at the skin with his teeth before sucking it into his mouth until Emma moaned. Â Killian pulled back and looked at his handiwork, smiling at the red mark on her skin. Â
Emma smiled down at him and said, âDare,â before pulling out another slip.
âGive your spouse a strip tease,â she said.
Killianâs eyes lit up. Â âAye, thatâs what should have accompanied the lap dance.â
Emma grinned as she stood. Â âBetter late than never.â
She stood just out of his reach and began by slowly inching her tank top up over her stomach. Â Killianâs eyes became hooded with desire as he watched her. Â She lifted the tank over her head and then dropped it to the floor. Â His tongue darted out to moisten his lips at the sight of his wife standing before him in her black lace bra. Â Emma slid her hands across her chest to cup her breasts, before trailing them down her sides. Â They rested on her hips for a moment before she reached for the button of her jeans. Â She popped the button and lowered the zipper. Â Killian watched as she slowly slid the jeans down her hips and legs until they were pooling at her ankles. She reached down and pulled her boots, socks, and jeans off in one motion. Â
Killian sucked in a breath as he felt himself harden again at the sight of his wife standing in her bra and matching black lace panties. Â She turned around and slid one strap down her shoulder. Â Then she slid the other. Â She reached behind her and flicked the clasp. Â The bra dropped to the floor, as Killian swallowed roughly. Â Emma looped her thumbs into the sides of her panties and slowly lowered them down her hips. Â She bent over then, giving him a nice view of her ass as she kicked them free of her.
Emma slowly turned around to face her husband, smiling at the slack jawed look of awe on his face and how he was stroking himself again.
âBloody hell,â he breathed at the glorious sight of his bare wife.
Emma blushed at the way his eyes looked as if they wanted to devour her. Â She brought her hands up, squeezing her breasts and toying with her nipples. Â
âCome here,â he growled.
Emma laughed as she practically pounced on him. Â She settled on his lap, straddling him, and shoving her tongue into his mouth. Â
âI need to be inside of you,â he managed, as his mouth moved to her neck.
Emma pulled back and nodded at the bowl. Â âThereâs only one more left. Â Itâs a dare and itâs your turn.â
âForget the game, love,â he mumbled against her skin as he sucked a mark onto the skin of her collarbone.
Emma tugged his hair so he looked up at her. âSo youâre forfeiting then?â
âYou win,â he grumbled, moving his mouth to the valley of her breasts.
Emma laughed, as her eyes slid closed and she threw her head back. Â She could feel his cock pressing against her clit as she rocked against him.
âI happen to know what the last dare is. Â I think youâll want to do it,â she panted.
Killian looked up at her, his lips swollen and pupils blown wide. Â Emma reached over to the night table and opened a drawer. Â She pulled out a bottle of chocolate syrup and a towel. Â
âLetâs just say it involves this,â she said, holding the bottle up.
Killianâs eyes widened and he quickly dug his hand into the bowl and pulled out the last slip.
âPour chocolate syrup on your spouse and then eat it off of them,â he read.
His lips spread into a grin as he threw the paper behind him and tossed her onto the bed. Â Â Emma giggled as he spread the towel over the sheet and then grabbed the bottle from her. Â He pulled the cap off with his teeth and then hovered over his beautiful wife, who was now spread out before him. Â
He tilted the bottle and poured a strip across her collarbone. Â His mouth quickly followed, licking her clean. Â Emma laughed as he swirled the chocolate around each nipple. Â Â His lips closed over the rosy buds, his tongue circling them until the syrup was gone. Â
He moved down her body, drawing a heart on her stomach. Â Emma threaded her fingers through his hair and held him to her skin as he made his doodle disappear with his tongue. Â He continued south until he was between her legs. Â Killian drizzled some over her center and then quickly licked her clean. Â Â He was about to continue his ministrations there, when he felt Emma tug on his head. Â She pulled him up to her.
âI need you inside me now,â she whispered, as she pulled the bottle out of his hand and tossed it on the ground.
âAs you wish,â he replied. Â
He quickly shed his pants. Â He then grabbed ahold of himself and lined his cock up with her entrance. Â
He pushed in, slipping in easily, as Emma clawed at his back, moaning his name. Â She threw her head back, as his mouth ran along her jaw. Â Emma wrapped her legs around his hips and gripped his ass with her fingernails, pushing him into her more deeply.
âFuck,â Killian groaned, as his lips moved to her neck and then her breasts, his teeth nipping at her erect nipples. Â
âKillian,â Emma breathed, as she felt her belly begin to coil. Â âIâm so close. Â Donât stop. Â Please, right there.â
Her husband reached down to where they were joined and thumbed at her clit. Â âThatâs it. Â Come for me, love.â
A moment later, Emma screamed his name and then he spilled his seed within her. Â Killian grinned as he collapsed atop her, but made no move to extricate himself from her body.
Emma smiled, as she ran her fingertips down the muscles of his back. Â
âThat was a really fun game,â she said.
âAye, love, we must play it again soon,â he replied.
They fell silent for a moment, until Emma broke it. Â âPromise me weâll always be like this.â
His brow furrowed. âLike what?â
âLike this. Â Never able to get enough of each other. Â Adventurous. Vulnerable. Â Honest. Â Intimate in every way.â
Killian lifted his head and placed a kiss to her lips. âI promise.â
Emma smiled and stroked his scruff. Â âGood.â

Short Post 6-B fic where Emma throws a party for Killian (and gives him the best possible gift). Also available on FF here.
A/N: Hello everyone! Surprise! I know I am on vacation AND to top it all off my laptop died earlier this week (so I am dealing with a whole lot of denial about the work I lost) BUT I could not let today come and go without some CS fluff. Because I have a number of readers with birthdays today (hi Jenn!) and coming up, it seemed fitting to write something new, and since last year I did a birthday for Emma, this year Iâm making one for Killian. . Anyway hope you guys enjoy and thanks for reading!
Staring at the fully decorated and brightly lit living room within her and Killian's home, Emma had to admit that things were going better than she'd at first anticipated.Â
When she originally came up with the idea of a celebration in Killian's honor done in the style and with the purpose of a birthday, she'd had understandable concerns. After all her husband, fond as he was of celebrating her and the other members of their family and friends in town, wasn't usually predisposed to moments celebrating him or providing him with what he felt for were undue accolades. For a man who was so charming and who often played at roguish swagger Killian would rather not be the center of attention at the end of the day. But Emma knew in her heart that Killian more than deserved to be celebrated and that even if he resisted today's activities, she would be sharing a gift with him that would make it all worth it.
"Are you sure you don't want to go a little bigger with the decorations?" Her mother asked in a genuine tone, pulling Emma from her quiet musings as she did. "You know it's not too late for us to embellish the theme a little bit. We could do something with sailing or the ocean or anything really... Oh I know! Pirates of the Caribbean! Killianâs seen those movies, right?"
Emma smiled her mother's ideas knowing that Snow meant the best when she put forth plans for an extension of the party's merriment, but if she gave her mother too much leeway then Emma would run the risk of ruining the party before it even began. If they went too flashy or too big that simply wouldn't be a party for Killian and that would be a shame, especially when Emma believed that she had found the perfect balance that would make this party both enjoyable to Killian and to all of their eager guests as well. It was old world meets new world in many ways but there would be good food and music and even a cake with rum infused frosting for dessert.
"Everything looks perfect as is, Mom. You've already done such a wonderful job and you've been a big help."
That response allowed Emma with a way out that didn't hurt her motherâs feelings, and she hoped that her Mom would believe her praise because Emma meant every word. The truth was Emma wasn't exactly cut out for party planning and none of these little details and thoughts had ever mattered much to her or ever came naturally. In this marriage there was one partner who was predominantly the thoughtful one with grand gestures and big surprises aplenty and that was Killian, but now Emma was trying to take a cue from his playbook so to speak.
"I think this is incredibly sweet Emma," Belle said as she approached from the kitchen where she had been getting much of the food for the evening plated and ready to go. "And itâs also very symbolic. After all, this is the anniversary of when he came back to you, right?"
Emma nodded, unsurprised that her and Killian's friend had figured out Emmaâs underlying intentions. One year ago today in the midst of some of the worst pain Emma had ever endured, where her heart has been broken and all hope seemed lost, light returned to her world once more when Killian was brought back to her through a magic too strong and too powerful to fully comprehend. That day had been the start of a whole new chance for both Emma and Killian to do this whole true love thing right and they had made the most of that opportunity living every day like it might be their last but hoping all the while that they would have the happily ever after that was promised to all heroes. In many ways both of them had been reborn on that day, and so it only seems fitting that a day like that should be cherished and remembered and that on this day Emma should try and make her husband see just how much he meant to her.
"It is, yeah. But it's crazy to think how different our lives are now. We might never be ânormalâ but this whole not constantly fighting the forces of evil thing... Well itâs pretty amazing."
"It's nothing less than you both deserve," Emma's father quipped from the other end of the room. "I think this family and this town have had just about enough trouble to last a lifetime."
Everyone easily agreed with David's shrewd analysis and Emma felt a surge of warmth  in her chest at the thought that everyone she loved and everyone she cared for truly had found peace in the aftermath of the final battle. Each person here had played a role in Emmaâs being strong enough to overcome her fate, but the one person who had done the most and whose love had shown throughout every moment no matter how dark with unwavering strength was Killian. He had been her rock when times were hard and he had been her faith when all hope seemed lost, and Emma knew that he would always continue to be her biggest fan and most adamant supporter as long as they lived.
At that moment the front door flew open and in a rush that was unexpected Emma watched as Henry came clamoring through with an earnest look on his face. For a second fear overtook her and there was a return to the old worries of the past. A look like that might mean there was some big bad knocking on their door poised to wreak havoc or that someone might be in grave danger, but then Emma noticed that though Henry seemed frazzled he wasn't truly upset and her gut told her that whatever he was about to say she could handle.
"Henry what's wrong?" Snow asked quickly but Henry's eyes stayed on Emma.Â
"We've got a slight hiccup in our plan. I know I was supposed to bring Killian after we were finished sailing on the Jolly, but he wanted to stay behind and short of saying you were in trouble I don't think there was anything I could do to get him to come."
âWell this is typical. We throw the pirate a party and heâs too wrapped up in that precious boat of his to even come,â Regina said with attempted sarcasm that Emma could plainly see through. No matter what she said, Regina had grown to consider Killian a friend and she did care about him underneath all of that dry wit.
âI tried to get him here, I really did. I even floated the idea of letting him make that mackerel stuff heâs always talking about for dinner, but he didnât bite.â
Hearing more of what had happened and just how much enticement Killian had denied to avoid coming home made Emma smile despite herself and she began to piece together parts of the puzzle that might escape the others in the room. If she had to guess Emma would say that Killian, smart and ever observant as he was, was likely onto them and trying to stall, but there was a way to get him here and Emma knew the time had come to make her move.Â
"That's all right kid I've got it from here," Emma promised as she gave Henry a hug before saying goodbye to the others and heading out the door in search of the docks. She chose to walk instead of using magic and the journey was quick and the weather outside was mild enough that it was more than pleasant, but the best part undoubtedly was when she was finally aboard the Jolly Roger and was reunited with the man she loved.
"So... where you planning on returning to us land bound folk any time soon, or is this your move to get the hell out of dodge?â Emma asked after quietly sneaking up to the deck and watching Killian for a few seconds where he stood at his perch at the shipâs edge. When her voice sounded out between them he turned immediately and Emma could see even through the clear intensity he was grappling with that he was relieved to be reunited with her again. It was just the way he always was, and that quiet but ever present concern was an amazing and unspoken reassurance that Emma was loved completely by her husband and that nothing would ever change that.
âYou joke, love, but you know thereâs no leaving for me. Not without you at least.â Emma let out a light laugh at the thought of them leaving every care and responsibility behind them for a life on the high seas before stepping forward to take the hand he offered willingly and feeling that spark of connection as soon as they were joined. âWhat do you say we set sail and go wherever the winds take us?â
âI say it sounds pretty perfect as long as Iâm with you, but tonightâs not so good. Weâve got plans.â
"Aye, I know about the party, Swan,â Killian announced, as if somehow heâd been keeping that little fact secret when his awareness was written all over his face.
"I figured as much when you gave Henry the slip with no clear reason," Emma confessed, prompting a surprised look from Killian before understanding infiltrated his piercing blue eyes and a softness returned to his features once more. Instinctively he pulled her into his arms wrapping her up in his embrace, and Emma welcomed that, stepping into him and into the place that had come to feel most like home to her in the whole wide world.
"It's not that I don't appreciate the gesture, my love, because I do, and timing it so precisely with my coming back from the Underworld was brilliant on your part. As Iâve said before my life truly began anew when I was given another chance to be by your side, and itâs as good a day as any to be grateful for. I just... Well truth is I've never had one of these, at least not one I can remember."
Hearing that (even though Emma had anticipated that might be the case) stung in a painful way and her heart went out to Killian as she thought about the stories she had heard from his less than happy and wholesome childhood and the largely unfortunate years that followed. They were very alike in this, in how life had robbed them of so many simple pleasures a person should know, but now Emma was hoping to rectify some of those old wounds and also share new joys that would grant them more of those miraculous second chances their love was prone to creating.Â
"There's no better time to try it out than now," Emma offered as her hand came to cup his cheek and she smiled at him and the feelings of rightness only he could bring into her life.Â
"Oh really? And why is that?" Killian inquired, teasing a bit more as he did and allowing himself to leave behind his earlier worrying. It was a beautiful sight for Emma to see him do so too, for she knew how hard it was to battle ghosts of lives past and she was always in awe of Killianâs willingness to try even when the going was tough.
âBecause I'm hoping we will have at least another sixty years together and itâs only fair that we both get a birthday to celebrate," Emma murmured, picturing in her mindâs eye where they would be ten, then twenty, and fifty years down the line. The visions were hazy of course, and they were open to changing since she couldnât really see the future, but the one thing Emma was certain of was that she and Killian would be a team and theyâd be happy. "And besides, this year I have the perfect gift to give you.â
âYou neednât have troubled yourself, Swan. You know the best thing in the world is you. What else could possibly compare to calling you mine?â
His words were touching and heartfelt and Emma let them wash over her skin as she felt the rumble of his lilted voice flow over her as well. Tears pricked at her eyes and she could feel the swell of emotion inside her brought not only by the good fortune she was about to share, but by this unique and remarkable man who loved her so. Killian didnât try to be perfect by any means, and he was clear with her and with everyone that he was only human and that he would make mistakes, but for Emma he was every ideal made real. He loved her with everything in him, brought passion and joy into her world every single day, and he looked at her as he did now - like she was the rarest gem of all - so often that it was almost commonplace. But this feeling in her heart would never be common, and the magic theyâd found together would never dull in any way, especially not in the sight of what she had to tell him now.
âMaybe finding out youâre going to be a father?â Â Emma whispered, her hand taking Killianâs in hers and bringing it over her tummy that hadnât yet begun to show but was destined to do so soon since right now a little girl or boy was growing bigger and bigger with each passing day.
âIâm going to - a father â you mean â youâre â I mean we⌠Swan?!â
The mumbled words and incoherent babbling was so unlike Killian in every way, but to Emma it was beyond endearing, and watching the whole host of reactions that crossed his face was brilliant. He went through every phase sheâd been in since finding out she was pregnant, excitement, glee, a little bit of trepidation, but mostly there was this love infused thankfulness that only someone who had lost everything before could know. The two of them had seen the darkest depths of what life could offer, and so it made this moment where things were so totally and completely good all the more wonderful.
âYup. You and I have roughly six months to get ready for a new addition to the Jones family, and then youâll get a new, slightly less âcolorfulâ moniker: Daddy.â
That was evidently the final straw for her husband, and the next thing Emma knew she was being pulled closer, her lips crashing against Killianâs as he kissed her with so much feeling and emotion that it superseded all other things. It was heated and yet sweet all at once, intimate but unabashed in its publicness, and truthfully Emma couldnât tell where she ended and where Killian began because she was so wrapped up in him that she lost the ability to decipher anything but that she loved him and that she was really and gloriously happy.
The rest of the world faded away for a while then as one kiss turned to two and then three and then more than Emma could count, and all that remained in the meantime was the two of them, both thrilled and elated at the new adventure they had waiting for them and this next chapter of their lives that would be so worth all that hard work and fighting theyâd put in the past few years. This was a part of that whole happy beginning they were after all along, and with Killian by her side Emma knew she was more than ready for this new challenge and this next step they would take together.
âEvery day you give me more and more reason to love you, Emma, and today has been no different,â Killian said when they finally pulled apart, their foreheads resting against each other as Emma closed her eyes and just soaked in this perfect moment with her one true love. âI donât know how a man can possibly be this blessed, but I swear to you this child will know just as you do that there is nothing and no one above our family to me. This, right here, is the most important thing, and it always, always will be.â
The power of those words for Emma, a woman who had at one time had considered herself to be nothing more than a lost little girl, was immense, and again those happy tears fell, spilling over her cheeks before they were wiped away by Killian as he whispered more words of affection and love. In response the only thing Emma could think to do was tell him that she loved him too and then kiss him senseless all over again, waiting party guests be damned.
Eventually, however, the two of them did face the music, arriving at the party and telling everyone the good news (because Killian couldnât bear to keep the secret). There was, of course, the obvious hope and joy Emma had expected from their family and friends, and in the end the night was a great one that was more than worthy of remembering because of all the laughs and enjoyment that was had amongst them all. And every year from that point on when that same date rolled around, Emma didnât hear any complaints from Killian about his âbirthday,â because he agreed that there was more than enough cause to celebrate and more than enough blessings to keep the Jones family happy and grateful forever more.
Post-Note: So there we have it, another fic where I give Emma and Killian more pieces of the happily ever after puzzle I am so hoping they manage to find. I truly donât think I can write enough of these, but I will certainly try in the absence of seeing it on the show itself. Anyway I hope that this chapter found all of you in the midst of good days. Thank you all for reading and happy birthday to my lovely readers celebrating in the coming weeks!
Summary: Â My version of how season 7 should open. Â Set in the future during a time of peace in Storybrooke, Emma and Killian are living a blissfully happy life with their seven year old twins. Â But this is still Storybrooke. Â And things can change in the blink of an eye.
Rating: PG
Note: Thank you for the responses to âNever Stop Fightingâ. Since Emma is only guaranteed to be back for one episode, we know that CS will have to be separated somehow. Â Â Given what we know so far, this is how I would like things to go in the season premiere. Â Oh and there is no mention of Henry in this because Iâm still trying to wrap my mind around how that whole thing is going to work and what exactly will happen to him in the future. Â Hope you enjoy it! Â ~Steph
...Forever Yours: Part 1/1âŚ
Killian came up behind his wife, as she stood at the stove making pancakes. Â He wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzled his nose into her neck.
âSomething smells delicious,â he muttered.
Emma giggled as his lips moved to her neck.
âDonât start,â she warned. Â âThe kids are already up and in the living room.â
âWhat?â he asked, nibbling on her ear. Â âI was talking about the pancakes.â
âSure you were,â she replied with a laugh.
Emma spun around in her husbandâs arms and snaked hers around his neck. Â His lips came crashing into hers, his tongue quickly diving into her mouth. Â He pulled her body up against his, as Emma threaded her fingers through his hair.Â
âWe canât,â Emma breathed before kissing him again.
Killian reached behind her and turned the stove off, as his lips moved down her throat to her chest. Â
âPerhaps if we are quiet, we can make it up to our bedroom and the children will simply think we are still asleep.â
Emma squeezed her eyes closed, as she held his head to her skin. Â
âOnly one problem with that: they already saw me making the pancakes.â
Killian pulled her robe back a bit with his hook and kissed her shoulder. Â
âWe can think of an excuse for our disappearance later then,â he said. Â
His lips moved back to hers for a quick kiss and then he grabbed her hand, leading her to the stairs.
âLet go!â Leia screamed.
âYou let go!â Liam yelled.
âMOM! Â DAD!â they both bellowed.
Killian and Emma stopped dead in their tracks, mere feet from the stairs. Â
âBloody hell. Â They must have inherited their grandmotherâs terrible timing,â Killian mumbled. Â âWhy did we decide to have children again?â
Emma laughed, as she kissed his cheek. Â âBecause we wanted to share our love and watch it grow everyday.â
Her husband bobbed his head, as he placed a kiss to her forehead.
âAye, thatâs right. Â Sometime I forget.â
âCome on,â Emma said, as she dragged him to the living room.
Once there, they found their seven year old twins engaged in a tug-of-war with a plastic sword.
âItâs mine! Give it back!â Liam screamed.
âYouâre supposed to share!â Leia yelled back.
âWhat the devil is going on in here?â Killian asked.
âDad, Leia took the sword Grandpa gave me and she wonât give it back.â
âHe wouldnât share it with me,â Leia countered.
Emma looked at their son. Â âIs that true?â
He shrugged. Â âWell, yeah. Â Swords arenât for girls.â
Emmaâs jaw tightened and she crossed her arms over her chest. Â Killian chuckled as he slapped their son gently on the back.
âOh, lad, now youâve gone and done it.â
âExcuse me?â Â Emma said. âYou know I am quite skilled with a sword, as is your grandmother. Â What would make you say such a thing, Liam?â
Leia smiled. Â âI know why. Â Heâs afraid Iâll be better at sword fighting than he is, so he doesnât want me to use his sword.â
âLiam,â Killian began. âIs your sister right?â
Liam shrugged and dropped his gaze to the ground. Â âSheâs better at everything. Â School, sports, even video games. Â I just wanted to be better than her this one time.â
Emma and Killianâs faces softened. Â Emma took the sword from them.
âHave a seat on the couch,â she ordered gently.
The twins sat down on the couch as their parents sat across from them on the coffee table. Â
âYou are not in competition with each other,â Emma said.
Killian nodded. Â âAye, you both have your own talents and gifts. Â All we ask if that you try your best at whatever you do.â
Emma bobbed her head. Â âYour father is right. Â And if one of you happens to be better at something than the other, then you should be proud of each other. Â Just like I know your father is proud of me, even though I am better at sword fighting than he is. Â Right?â she said, turning to her husband.
Killianâs eyes widened and he chuckled nervously, Â âWell, love, Iâm not sure Iâd say youâre better than me. Â After all, I do have a few centuries of practice on you.â
âTrue, but at this point, Iâve defeated countless villains, so that has to count for something,â she said.
âAye, that it does. Â But to declare you are better than me is a bit of an overstatement,â he said.
The children stared at their parents. Â Â Emma and Killian were suddenly aware that their parental lecture had gotten away from them.
Emma forced a smile. Â âThe point is, I am proud of your father for being so good at sword fighting and he is proud of me.â
âThatâs right. Â And we want you to support each other and be proud of each other,â Killian added.
âOkay,â they replied begrudgingly.
Emma held the sword out. Â âSo you have two choices. Â You can either take turns playing with the sword or we keep it and no one uses it. Â Whatâs it going to be?â
Leia and Liam exchanged a glance, then sighed heavily. Â
âTake turns,â they mumbled.
âBrilliant,â Killian said with a grin, as Emma handed the sword over to Liam.
âBut itâs time for breakfast now and then we need to get ready for our fishing trip on the Jolly Roger today. Â Go get washed up,â Emma said.
The twins scampered out of the room. Â
Killian grinned at his wife. Â âLove, you donât truly believe youâre better at sword fighting than me, do you?â
Emma shrugged. Â âWell, when we dueled in the Enchanted Forest, I did beat you.â
Killian leaned in close to her, his eyes scanning her face and stopping at her lips, as he replied softly, Â âI was distracted.â
His lips moved to her jaw and he began to leave a path of kisses down it. Â
âOh yeah, by what?â Emma breathed.
âYour beauty,â he mumbled against his wifeâs skin.
âSounds like an excuse to me,â she giggled, as his mouth trailed down her neck.
âPerhaps a rematch is in order then,â he said, lifting his lips from her body and meeting her eyes.
âMaybe so,â she agreed.  âIâll give you this though.  You made good on your promise.â
âAnd what promise was that?â he asked, cocking an eyebrow.
Emma grinned. âEvery time you jab me with your sword, I definitely feel it.â
Killian laughed and kissed her again.
 âŚ
It was nearly noon by the time they made it onto the Jolly Roger.  The twins helped Killian ready the ship and soon they were sailing away from Storybrooke.  Once they were far enough out, Killian dropped anchor.  He handed each child a fishing pole and they hurried to the side of the ship.   Emma and Killian watched the twins as they waited for a bite.
âCan you believe we made them?â Emma asked. Â
Killian put his arm around his wifeâs shoulders.  âSometimes itâs hard to believe.â
âTheyâre a product of our true love,â she said. Â
Killian pressed a kiss to her temple.  âSometimes itâs hard to believe that this life we have built together, this family, is real.  These years we have spent together have been the happiest of my life.â
Emma nodded.  âMine too.  I love our life.  I love our family.â  She paused and then met his gaze. âWhat would you say to adding another little pirate or princess to it?â
Killian raised his brow and then grinned.  âIâd say that making the two we already have was an awful lot of fun.  I certainly enjoy the process.â
Emma took his hand in hers and brought it to her belly.  âAnd what if I told you that the fun we so frequently have has already produced another little pirate or princess?â
Killianâs eyes grew wide in shock.  âYou meanâŚweâreâŚyouâre...youâre with child?  Weâre going to have another baby?â
Emma nodded, a smile spreading across her lips.  âYes,â she whispered.
Killianâs lips gave way to a huge grin.  He pulled his wife into his arms and pressed a kiss to her lips.  He then looked into her eyes.
âYou are an incredible mother, love.  I canât wait to bring another child into this world with you.â
Emma felt tears fill her eyes.  âYou are an amazing father, Killian.  This adventure certainly hasnât been easy, but I have loved every minute of it with you.  I canât wait to see what comes next!â
They kissed again, but were soon interrupted by their children.
âMom!  Dad!  Come quick!â they screamed.
Emma and Killian parted and ran over to their children.
âLiam has something on his line,â Leia said.
Liam pulled on the rod as the line jerked back and forth. Â
âThatâs it, lad.  Youâve got it,â Killian said.  âNow reel it in.â
Liam held on tightly, as he reeled the line in.  Their eyes widened as he pulled and a huge striped bass leapt out of the water.   Liam kept reeling it in and then pulled again, dropping the fish onto the deck.
âBloody hell!  Itâs massive!  It must weigh at least 10 pounds!â Killian said in disbelief.
âGreat job, honey!â Emma said, giving him a hug.
Leia smiled at her twin and then lifted her hand to high five him.  âAwesome job, Liam!â
Liam grinned proudly and slapped his sisterâs hand. âThanks!â
Killian picked the fish up.  âI think weâve got breakfast for tomorrow.â
His wife and children scrunched up their noses and replied, âYuck!â
Killian shook his head.  âItâs good for you.  Not like those toaster tarts you all insist on eating.â
âTheyâre called Pop Tarts, Dad,â Leia corrected. Â
âWhatever their name, they are absolute rubbish,â he said.
Emma and the twins simply shook their heads and laughed.
 âŚ
They fished until the sun began to set.  All four cuddled up close on the bench Killian had built for them, as they watched the sun turn the sky into a rainbow of colors.  Killian wrapped his arm around his wife.  Leia rested her head in her motherâs lap, as Liam did the same in his fatherâs.  Soon, the children drifted off to sleep.
Emma looked up at her husband.  âSo what do you think?  You think we can handle another one?  Weâve already got our hands full with these two.â
Killian nodded. âI think there isnât anything we canât do as long as we do it together.â
Emma sucked in a breath, her expression suddenly growing serious.  âI think weâve been spoiled these last couple of years, Killian.  Weâve been villain-less and curse-free.  Itâs made things easier.  But this is Storybrooke.  That could change at any moment.â
Killian nodded and pressed a kiss to her hair. âAye, love.  And whatever comes our way, we will deal with together.â
Neither had any way of knowing that the very next day their lives would change forever.
 âŚ
The next morning, Killian went to retrieve the newspaper from the front lawn.  He had just picked it up when his eyes caught sight of something down the street.   His mouth dropped open at what was before him.   Killian turned and ran into his house.
 âEmma!â he screamed.
Emma came running down the stairs, her eyes widening at the fear etched across her husbandâs features.
âKillian?  What is it?  Whatâs wrong?â
âI donât know exactly, but it looks as if thereâs a curse coming.  Thereâs an enormous blanket of blue smoke heading this way.â
âOh my God.  I have to warn my parents,â she said, heading to retrieve her phone.
Killian gently grabbed her elbow, stopping her movement. Â
âThereâs no time, love. It will be here any moment,â he said.
Emma squeezed her eyes closed and sucked in a calming breath.
âLeia!  Liam!â Emma called, as she cradled her stomach with her hand. Â
The twins scampered down the stairs and came to stand before their parents. Â
 âWhat?â they asked in unison.
Their parents knelt before them.  Emma cupped Liamâs face, as Killian did the same to Leia.
âThereâs a curse coming.  It will be here any minute,â Emma said.
Tears immediately filled their childrenâs eyes.  The fear suddenly present in them broke their hearts.
âWhat is it going to do?â Leia asked softly. Â
âWe donât know, sweetheart,â Killian replied.
âWill it separate us?â Liam asked, his voice trembling.
Emma and Killian exchanged a look.  They had always been honest with their children. Â
Emma slowly nodded. âIt might,â she said.
âNo!â they screamed, as tears began to stream down their cheeks.
Emma and Killian pulled their children close to them, rubbing their backs soothingly.
âShh, loves, itâs going to be okay,â Killian said comfortingly.
âYour father is right,â Emma said, as they pulled back and looked at their parents.  âWe have been through alot and we always find our way back to each other.  No matter what happens, hold onto that.  And always remember we love you.â
Emma and Killian hugged and kissed their children one last time. Then they stood and faced each other. Â
âI love you,â Killian said, as he blinked back tears.
âI love you,â Emma replied, her voice cracking with emotion.
Killian placed his hand on her stomach.  âNo matter what happens, I will always be with you.  I will always be by your side, even if you canât see me.â
Emma cupped his face and stood on her toes as she brought her lips to his.  Tears streamed down their cheeks as they kissed.   When they parted, their foreheads remained touching.
âIf we are separated again, then we will find our way back to each other.  Nothing has ever stopped us before and nothing ever will,â she said.
âAye, love, Iâll never stop fighting to get back to you and our family,â he vowed.
Emma sucked in a breath and wiped at her cheeks with the back of her hand.  She swallowed roughly and then quickly moved to the table by the door.  She grabbed a Sharpie out of a cup on the table and returned to stand in front of her husband.
âGive me your hand,â she ordered.
Killian extended his hand, palm up. Â
 âWhat are you doing, Swan?â
âSomething to remember me by,â she whispered.
Emma wrote with the Sharpie across his palm:  Forever Yours.  Love, Emma.
She met his gaze.  âThese curses have a way of wiping our memories. If that happens, and assuming this remains on your hand, I want you to know that somewhere there is someone who loves you and is waiting for you to get back to them.â
Killian smiled sadly and kissed her again.  Then he took the Sharpie and lifted her hand with his hook.  He was about to write the same thing across her palm when the blue cloud enveloped their home.  Emma and the children became frozen to their spots, while Killian disappeared.
 âŚ
Killianâs head was pounding.  He felt like he had consumed an entire barrel of rum.   He felt the warm sun on his face and the hard ground on his back.  Slowly, he pried his eyes open.   He was met with the sky, which seemed to be spinning.  His body ached, as he finally managed to lift himself into a sitting position on the sidewalk.   Killian rested against the brick building behind him, as he took a deep breath.
Where in bloody hell was he?
He stretched his legs and arms, trying to determine if he was injured in anyway.   His eyes moved to his left hand, his brow furrowing at it for some unknown reason, as if it didnât belong to him.   His gaze traveled to his other hand and he flexed it.   His brow wrinkled curiously as he noticed something was written on his palm.  He held his hand up in front of his face.
âForever Yours.  Love, Emma,â he read aloud.
Emma.  Emma.  The name rolled around in his head.  He felt his heart skip a beat and his breath catch in his chest at the sight of it. Â
He didnât know who Emma was or why exactly her name elicited such a reaction in him, but he knew that she must love him and that she must be waiting for him somewhere.
Slowly, he stood, a determination he couldnât explain boiling up inside of him.  Deep inside of him, he knew he had to get back to her.  Someway, somehow.

So it's no secret that we hope that A&E take advantage of the episode Jen is going to be in (likely the premiere) to show us CS in the future. Yes, we want pancakes, and domestic bliss, and a baby. So I was thinking that Jen's new haircut lends itself well to showing us Emma in the future. They would probably want to do something to her looks to denote the passage of time without aging her too much. If they don't give us at least something with future CS in that episode, I am going to throw something at my TV!
Summary: Â After Killian finds his way back to Emma, he must help her regain her memories and remember the love they share.
Rating: G
Note: So itâs been an emotional rollercoaster of a week. Â I have a lot of mixed feelings. Â I donât know whatâs going to happen in a season 7 without Jen and with Colin. Â I can only hope they find a way to sustain this beautiful romance we all love. Â And I will enjoy whatever Captain Swan we have left. Â Â I havenât seen the sneak peek, so this is just based on the promo and what I would like to see happen tomorrow. Â Hope you enjoy it! Â ~Steph
âŚThe Most Powerful Magic: Part 1/1...
Killian slammed his hook and fist down on the table in the dining room of the Evil Queenâs castle.
âBloody hell! Â I need to get back to my wife!â
David and Snow turned toward him. Â
David sighed heavily. Â âWeâre all frustrated, Hook.â
âGetting upset is not going to help any of us get back to Emma and Henry.â
Killianâs eyes flared, as he held up his hand. Â âLess than five minutes,â he said. Â âWe were married less than five minutes when she was taken away from me again. Â Â It was supposed to be a happy beginning for us, but instead I am trapped in this bloody place and my wife is holed up in a mental hospital. Â The Black Fairy is determined to destroy her. Â She doesnât remember me or any of us. Â She doesnât remember being the Savior and she doesnât believe that this fairy tale life exists. Â She doesnât believe in anything.â
Snow placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. Â âYou have every right to be upset. Â But Emma needs us now more than ever. Â And we wonât do her any good if we let our emotions get the best of us.â
David nodded. âWe need to remain calm. Â We will find a portal and get back to her. Â We have yet to fail.â
Killian dropped his head, his voice emerging softly. Â âI miss my wife.â
Just then, Regina came charging in. Â She held her hand up high and smiled triumphantly. Â
âI found a magic bean to open a portal to Storybrooke!â
Killianâs eyes lit up, as smiles spread across David and Snowâs faces.
âThatâs great, Regina!â Snow said.
Reginaâs smiled slowly faded. Â âThereâs just one problem.â
âWhatâs that?â David asked, his brow furrowing with worry.
âIt will only allow one person through and then the portal will disappear,â she said.
Killian shook his head sharply, as Snow and David blew out a frustrated breath. Â After a few moments, Snow walked to Regina and took the bean from her. Â Â She walked over to Killian and held it up to him.
âIt should be you,â she said. Â
Killianâs eyes widened in shock. Â âWhat?â
âYouâre Emmaâs husband now. Â You should be the one to go to her,â Snow said.
Killian shook his head slowly. âAlthough I would like nothing more, I canât make this about me. Â Emma is in danger. Â She needs someone who can help her defeat the Black Fairy. Â Regina is the only one with magic. Â Sheâs her best chance.â
Regina nodded her head. Â âSnowâs right, Hook. Â This isnât about magic. Thatâs not what Emma needs right now. You saw the same images of Emma in that mirror that we did. Â She is broken and alone, just like when Henry first found her. Â She doesnât believe in anything or anyone.â
David bobbed his head. Â âAnd magic isnât what made her believe back then. Â Love did. Â True love broke the dark curse.â
âTrue love is the most powerful magic of all,â Snow said.
She took Killianâs hand and placed the bean in it.
âGet to Emma. Make her believe again,â she said.
Killian stared at his in-laws and then slowly nodded. Â âThank you. Â I will do everything in my power.â
Regina nodded. Â âAnd we will do everything in ours to find another portal to get us all home.â
Killian took a deep breath and then threw the magic bean up. Â Â A portal appeared before them. Â With one last look at his new family, he stepped through the portal.
âŚ
Henry led Emma onto the roof where she and Killian had gotten married.
âWhy are we here?â she asked, glancing around the barren roof.
âIâm hoping it will jog your memory,â he replied.
âA roof is supposed to jog my memory?â Emma asked, brow raised.
âThis isnât just any roof. Â Itâs where you got married.â
Emmaâs eyes widened. Â âMarried? Â I have a husband?â
Henry nodded. Â âYes, you got married right before the curse hit.â
Emma sighed. âCurse. Â Right. Â So, let me get this straight. Â Iâm the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. Â Iâm the Savior. Â So whoâs my husband? Â Robin Hood? Â Peter Pan?â
Henry felt his lips twitch into a smile. Â âCaptain Hook, actually.â
Emma shook her head, a laugh flowing from her mouth. âOf course.â
Henry nodded. Â âI want to show you something.â
He led Emma over to sit and he sat down beside her. Â Â Henry pulled the Storybook out of his backpack. Â
âStorytime?â she asked.
âYup,â he said, turning the pages and pointing. Â âThis is your parentsâ wedding. Â This is your birth. Â They put you through the wardrobe so you could break the dark curse 28 years later.â
Emma stared at the pages blankly. Â It didnât seem like her life. Â It just seemed like a story. Â
Henry kept turning until he had nearly reached the end. Â He pointed at the next picture.
âAnd this is your wedding. Â Thatâs your husband. Â Captain Hook. Â Or Killian Jones, as he goes by now.â
Emma looked at the man before her. Â âKillian,â she whispered.
She reached out and ran her fingers across his face. Â Henry searched her eyes for any sign of recognition. Â He thought he saw a spark of something.
âDo you remember him?â
She slowly shook her head. Â âNo.â Â She paused and added softly, âWe look happy.â
Henry smiled at her use of the word âweâ. Â Maybe he was making progress. Â Â He was convinced that the Black Fairy hadnât wiped her memory. Â He believed that she had just filled her with hopelessness and a lack of belief that caused her memories to be repressed. He just needed to find a way to bring them back to the surface. Â
âYou were. Â This roof looked beautiful. Â The sun was setting and there were curtains and lights and flowers. Â And you danced and sang with your new husband.â
âItâs a nice story,â she said, dropping her eyes.
âItâs not a story, Mom. Â This is your life.â
Emma shook her head. Â âHenry, I know you mean well. Â But none of this is real. Â There are no such things as curses or villains or magic beans. Â And I am not the Savior. Â Iâm sorry.â
Henry felt tears well up in his eyes, as he slammed the book closed. Â
âIâm not going to give up on you, Mom. Â You taught me that.â
He then got up and walked to the door. Â Emma watched him go and then turned her eyes to the sky. Â The sun was beginning to set. Â She wouldnât admit it to Henry, but something felt familiar about this place. Â Something felt special.
...
Killian found himself standing in the middle of Main Street. Â Storybrooke looked mostly the same, but somehow bleaker. Â A few stores had changed and everything just seemed darker and dull. Â
Killian knew what he had to do first. Â He had to find Henry. Â He turned on his heel and headed in the direction of Grannyâs. Â Â He was halfway there when he heard a voice behind him.
âHook?â
Killian spun around and found Henry just yards away from him.
âHenry!â
A huge smile appeared on Henryâs lips. Â He came rushing forward, surprising Killian when he enveloped him in a hug. Â Â Killian smiled, as he patted his stepsonâs back.
âItâs good to see you, lad.â
Henry pulled back and met his eyes. Â
âHow did you get here? Â Whereâs my mom? Â Where are my grandparents?â
Killian let out a breath, as his tongue darted out to lash at his lips nervously.
âIâm afraid Iâm the only one here,â he said.
Henryâs eyes widened. Â âWhy? Â What happened? Â Are they okay?â
âYou neednât worry, Henry. Â Â Your family is fine. Â But the portal only allowed one person through before closing. Â It was decided I should be the one to go. Â We saw in the mirror what has happened to your mother. Â They thought I would have the best chance of getting through to her.â
Henry took a moment to absorb this information and then nodded. Â âThey were right.â
âWhere is she now?â
âI broke her out of the mental hospital.â
Killian grinned. âThatâs my boy.â
âI brought her up to the roof where you two got married. Â I donât think her memory was wiped. Â I think her memories have been repressed. I hoped bringing her there would jog her memory. Â â
Killianâs face fell. Â It was where the best day of his life had turned into the worst.
âDid it?â
Henry shrugged. âI donât know. Â I thought I saw a flash of something in her eyes for a moment, but then it was gone. Â Maybe youâll have better luck. Â I just left her there a few minutes ago.â
âAye, then thatâs where I will go.â
âWait,â Henry said, digging into his pocket. Â
He pulled out Emmaâs engagement and wedding rings. Â
âHere,â he said, placing them in Killianâs hand. âMaybe these will help. Â They took them from her in the hospital, but I found them and snuck them out. Â I knew she wouldnât want them left there. Â I was going to give them to her to see if they sparked anything, but I didnât want to overwhelm her with too much too quickly.â
Killian stared at the rings, tears now blurring his eyes. Â He had loved placing them on her finger and the promises they held. Â
âThank you, Henry,â he said, as his fingers closed around the rings.
He only hoped he could use them to get through to her.
âŚ
Killian opened the door onto the roof, stopping in his tracks when he saw his wife sitting a few yards away from him. Â It took every ounce of his strength not to run to her. Â
âSwan?â he said.
Emmaâs head shot up and her eyes met his. She couldnât explain it, but she felt her heart skip a beat and her breath catch in her chest at the sight of him. Â He was the man from the storybook. Â According to Henry, he was her husband.
âKillian,â she said.
His lips spread into a smile and he quickly closed the distance between them, coming to sit down beside her and meeting her gaze.
âDo you remember me, love?â he asked, searching her eyes.
Emma stared into his eyes. Â There was something so familiar in the beautiful blue orbs. Â She finally shook her head and tore her eyes away from him. Â It broke Killianâs heart to see his wife looking at him like he was a stranger.
âNo, Iâm sorry. Â I just recognized you from the picture in Henryâs storybook.â
âEmma,â he said, lifting his hand to her cheek. Â âPlease look at me.â
She flinched when he touched her and it broke his heart even more. Â His own wife flinching at his touch. Â But Emma hadnât flinched because she was scared or uncomfortable. Â She had felt an undeniable spark when his skin had make contact with hers.
âIâm sorry,â he mumbled and began to pull his hand away.
Emma grabbed his hand and took it in hers. Â âDonât be,â she said softly.
She looked down at their entwined hands, marveling at how well they fit together, how her hand seemed to be made for his. Â Her eyes focused on his wedding ring, her thumb running over it.
Killian sucked in a breath at feeling the touch of his wife again. Â
âThis is where we were married, Emma. Â We had never been happier. Â It was supposed to be our happy beginning.â
âIâm sorry, I know thatâs real for you. Â But itâs not for me,â she said. Â
Killian squeezed her hand in his. âAye, that it is. Â You need to look inside yourself, love. Itâs all there waiting for you to find it, to believe again.â
âI can see that you love the woman you remember,â she replied. Â
âI love you, Emma,â he said, his voice cracking with emotion. Â Killian sucked in a deep breath as he continued. Â âI have lived centuries and you are undoubtedly the most amazing person I have ever met. Â When I met you, I believed in one thing and one thing only: revenge. Â It was the only thing I cared about. Â You changed all that. Â You made believe I could be more. Â You made me believe I could change. Â You made me believe in love again. Â No one in all my years was able to do that but you, Emma. Â You are the Savior. Â It took you a long time to believe in that and the world you came from. Â But you did and you have helped so many people. Â They still need you. Â And I need my wife.â
Emma felt tears fill her eyes at his heartfelt words. Â She could feel her heart swell as she looked into his loving eyes.
Killian slipped his hand from hers and dug into his pocket. Â He emerged with her engagement and wedding rings. Â He held them out to her, cradling them in his palm. Â
âThese belong to you, love.â
Emma stared at the rings and, suddenly, something flashed before her eyes. Â She squeezed her eyes closed, as images assaulted her senses: Â Killian down on one knee. Â Twice. Holding up the engagement ring. Â Then slipping it on her finger. Â And then they were standing on this very roof as he slipped the wedding band on her finger. Â Then they were kissing and singing and dancing.
Emma shook her head sharply. Â It felt like a dream. Â It didnât feel real.
âWhat is it, Swan? Â Did you remember something?â
Emma shook her head again, but refused to meet his eyes. Â âNo.â
Killian reached out and gently lifted her hand with his hook. Â Emma watched as he slipped both rings onto her finger. Â She stared down at the rings on her finger, a powerful feeling of love welling up inside of her. Â It wasnât like anything she had ever felt before. Â
Killian touched her cheek again, but this time she leaned into his touch.
âI know you feel it, Emma. Â Our connection. Â Our love. Â Our souls are forever entwined. Â The love we share is powerful and rare. Â Itâs true love. Â And we fought for a life together. Â We fought for our future. Â I will never stop fighting for us and I know you wonât either.â
Emma stared at him for a long moment, her eyes scanning his face and finally settling on his lips. Â Slowly, almost automatically, she leaned forward. Â She cupped his face in her hands and softly brushed her lips across his.
Killian was surprised by the gesture. Â He wanted nothing more than to kiss his wife with all of the passion and love he had bottled up inside of him. Â But he knew he needed to allow her to take the lead. Â
She pulled back, searching his eyes for a long moment, before diving back in and kissing him again. Â This time, it was far more than a brush. Â Her lips melded to his, her tongue diving in and tangling with his own. Â Killianâs hand swept into her hair, as he pulled her closer to him and deeper into the kiss. Â
As Emma kissed him, more images filled her mind. Â Moments with her parents, Henry, Killian, and her friends. Â Â There were so many with the man before her, the man she was kissing. Â But now they didnât feel like a dream anymore. Â They felt real. Â They felt as if she had lived them. Â And kissing him felt like the most natural thing in the world.
She finally pulled back again, breathless, and smiled, meeting his gaze. Â
âKillian,â she whispered.
Killian felt a smile twitch at the corner of his lips, but he remained cautious. Â âEmma? Â Do you remember?â
Her smile widened, reaching her eyes until they twinkled. Â âI remember. Â I remember everything.â
A huge smile spread across Killianâs lips and he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to him. Â
âI missed you so much,â he said.
Emma nuzzled his neck, revelling in her husbandâs familiar scent and the comfort of his embrace.
âI missed you, too,â she whispered.
Emma pulled back and met his eyes, her hand going to his cheek and her thumb running along his scruff. Â
âI love you, Killian,â she said.
Killian felt his heart swell at her words. Â âI love you, too, Emma.â
âThank you,â she said. Â âThank you for not giving up on me.â
âI never will. Â Youâre my wife now. Â Your battles are my battles. Â We will find a way to defeat the Black Fairy and then we can truly have that happy beginning.â
Emma nodded, as he pulled her into his arms again. Â âNothing is going to stop us this time.â
Emma placed her head on her husbandâs shoulder, as he wrapped his arm around her. Â Their eyes moved to the setting sun. Â Tomorrow, a new day would come and, with it, the hope that she feared was lost to her forever.
