Ohhh and Ilya being scared of medical things esp while regressed… :( He can grit through it while big, but its so overwhelming with how young he slips and how vulnerable that is. Heartbreaking bc in my ideas for the au, I think Ilya’s mother had rlly bad experiences with how her classification was managed, and treated like a problem to fix, which Ilya knows about to an extent and is scared of for himself…and then to have those fears confirmed in any way is horrible :( I think that would have to be factored into care plan, esp with what you previously said abt medical procedures and equipment being explained as much as possible while Ilya is regressed…maybe making sure Ilya always has a trusted person to be with him during any and all check ups and medical treatments if is in between headspaces or dropped.
