Oh they would both drink up each other’s praise like it’s the cure for all that ails them. Marcus is more of a caretaker for sure, it’s just his nature, or at the very least what he’s been conditioned to be, but Tomas has and will reach out to offer comfort when he knows that Marcus needs it. And I think it feels just as good to him as being comforted, at least when it’s Marcus that he’s reaching out to.

I think it’s only fair that you now write a post listing in detail all the romantic tropes they hit.

Most disliked arc? Why?

The thing with Margot losing her baby/ability to have children. 

Aside from hating to see that shit happen to Margot, whom I love, Hannibal’s motives and his role in what happen are hard to parse. If it was deliberate on his part that things end up about the way they did, that frustrates me a great deal, because they have a good relationship in the novels and said relationship means a great deal to me personally. 

If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

Fics that are still on my list, which I didn’t get to this year because the roleswitch AU that I EXPECTED to be about 10k words is currently at 180k and looking to break 200k before it’s done:

- Universe swap where, seven years after the end of season three/the RED DRAGON novel, novel!Will and show!Will switch places. 

- Reba/Francis fix it where they meet before Francis becomes a serial killer, in which he is able to find the strength to save himself. 

- CANNIBALS VS PREDATOR.
