tips for ppl like me who like someone and have no clue wtf to do abt it
so when you like someone and you’re not friends w them yet you should def reach out. Maybe ask a friend who knows them to link you two, or make a gc with you guys. Whatever. (gc should be on snap, I feel like it’s more casual)
when your friends w them you should reach out on your own. Don’t try any ghosting until you know the two of you are close in general, you’ll automatically get your feelings hurt - you’re not a priority yet. but yea text them, even if it’s about something boring, like homework. Even if you know what the homework is, make conversation, play a little dumb. - get to know them, ask them random questions, it’s kinda fun. People LOVE talking about themselves.
ask them to walk to school, or if ur older work, maybe carpool or sum. don’t take it personally if they don’t text first. I get it, but some ppl are shy, or just suck at keeping touch. If that happens, you can try the ghosting thing, see if they notice you’re gone.
LEARN ABOUT THEM. (from the random questions) learn about them, obviously, learn about the things they like. Also learn about things they don’t, so you can make fun of it together. Read their books, listen to their music, watch their movies, play their instruments, their sports, etc. Do the same for them.
If you learn you’re not usually the type of person they date, DO NOT CHANGE YOURSELF COMPLETELY. It’s ok to adopt some talents they find attractive (any talent is attractive in general, look at actors. even the most basic looking ones have fans) it’s ok to change ur look a little. But only do what YOU’RE COMFORTABLE WITH. No one ever gets their exact dream love. You need to have some things they like, but if you really mean something to them, they will grow to love everything about you. YOU.
Observe them. Their quirks, the way they smile, walk, talk. Know what color their eyes are, how many siblings (if any), hobbies, career interests, etc.
