Great day with some dope people at the best Box ever pushing through the Hero WOD #Murph today. Kind of funny how I've avoided it and I'll admit that I've been afraid of it for the past few years (2 miles running 🏃- who even likes running???) But this year, thanks in no small part to @alikay1997 @sk_0426 and @kelhuston nudging, instilling confidence, motivating, setting the example to follow, and convincing me that I probably wouldn't die (but no guarantees that I wouldn't pass out); I committed and got it done ✅. Physically it wasn't bad at all, but definitely a tough mental battle with myself. The last mile was the worst and best part. Running alone with my head whispering I should quit while my mind is going over the story behind the workout and yelling at me to consider what Murph and his crew experienced and did so why in the world should I not be able to finish this!
