My Cheese Steak sandwich with tempeh and vegan cheese may look a mess but it was delicious. My ego is a little hurt though because this continues the narrative that I’m the worst at cooking my own vegan dishes. So far nothing I’ve tried (tofu, jackfruit, tempeh, etc.) has even slightly resembled (let alone taste) meals I’ve eaten out.
