*Crocell was confined in a prison cell underneath the temple, Reverie perking up as she hears someone apporach the door, tail flicking as she stood up. Byleth had entered the cellroom, clutching his side.*
*Byleth's eyes briefly flickered at Reverie before darting back at Crocell.*
"...He's gone, isn't he?" Crocell said the question more like a statement, sounding defeated.
The gray wolf could only give them a nod, the scientist sighing in reply.
"And I assume this means the end of the free pack...?"
"Not necessarly," Byleth replied, crossing his arms. "If Woolhaven decides *not* to execute me for being associated with my father amoungst other things, I will rebuild The Free Pack anew. Fix what was wrong with it, and work from there..."
Crocell smiled as they let out a scoff. "I'm sure they intend to make us pay for *our* crimes..."
"Yeah well, that's life."
Reverie stood there awkwardly, hands fixed over her lap. "I-i'm sure once things settle down they'll give you a light sentence...maybe..."
Both wolves were looking at her now.
"I-i mean...they *are* animals of emotion and compassion....m-maybe they'll see your point of view...."
"*Maybe...*" Crocell retorted, slumping back. "But that *is* wishful thinking...."
