Byleth, Big & Bad, new leader of The Free Pack (He/him)(Oc)
- Successor of Marchosias after his death, he found Marchosias corpse on top of the mountain.
- Very much based on Brogy, just a tiny bit.
- Ironically isn’t a *huge* science guy, that’s what Crocell is for :)
- That being said he *is* a strategist and a genuine threat. Do not think him as incompetent *ever*
Paimonia, Mercenary of The Free Pack (She/Her) (Oc)
- A mercenary paid by The Free Pack as a aid
- What exactly…is she?
- Wears a cloak that hides almost all of their features so good luck finding out (for now)
Crocell, head of research (They/them) (Oc)
- Took over Marchosias’s research when he died
- Possibly the most vengeful out of all remaining free pack members, see’s Byleth as idiotic but recognizes the danger he brings
Scylla and Charybdis (Not ocs!!!!)
- Twins once separated now reunited
- Charybdis has a hard time speaking now on account of being severly affected with rot, so he is learning sign language

(Sariel) *He ignored the pounding fear in his heart at the wolf's attention. He handed over the hitlist.*
We caught a spy with the name of Xeybeth. Mother informed me that she works for Shamura's general. Any information you can think to give will be helpful, especially the last two names.
(Sariel) *He bit his tongue on a snappy retort, taking a breath.* Our intelligence networks had been severely cut down by the end. Admittedly we stopped gaining information in favor of finding something to protect ourselves with. There's a lot we don't know currently about the state of the Old Faith, other than the deaths of the bishops.
Byleth: So, Moria...there is a reason she is known as the "papilion of silence" and "The judge"...she is so efficient in her duty as general that she also serves as Shamura's assassin....
Byleth: And she was there when...Woolhaven was purged...I could've sworn that cyclops fought her, that injury looked like it was her doing
Byleth: Anyway-- Moria is a very serious threat...
(Sariel) I figured, A war god doesn't hire just anyone as their general. What do you know about the illusion charms? The spy had been wearing one.
*He rubbed his arms. He wasn't going to be able to handle staying so close to the wolves for much longer, especially with so many of their eyes on him.*
*Byleth tilted his head, noticing eyes staring at Sariel.*
Byleth: Hey! Back to work!
*the wolves stammered as they continue working*
Byleth: ...The glimmer charms are used to diguise people's EXACT appearance. The only way to tell is by smelling them or noticing a flaw in their apperence....
(Sariel) *He smiled a bit.* So...if I were to offer a fresh fish meal to every Wolf who brings in a spy to me and Mother Yngya, would that be a good incentive for uh... keeping a nose out?
*Anything for the safety of Woolhaven, Sariel reminds himself. If Mother can negotiate with the wolves, so can he.*
(Sariel) Good. Once things calm down I'm hoping to go on a fishing trip. Every successful spy captured in exchange for any extra fish I catch. Do you prefer raw fish or cooked?
*Eugh, why did he find charm in some of the wagging tails of the excited wolves? Especially when his healed burns still itched at the sight of Byleth. What was wrong with him?*
(Sariel) Only if you catch anymore spies. I'm not offering freebies to my captors and torturers. Though, Mother has been pleased with your work, so perhaps by her grace you'll get to feast as well once our town is officially rebuilt.

Ngl i kinda want to argue that sariel's (and the others) racism I the rpverse isn't actually racism but more of a justified dislike of textbook colonizers on their land (especially since the wolves are kinda worse regarding the sheep) (literally mocks the sheeps "lack of intelligence", calls them "mutton")
(Indeed, which is why it was a bit of a joke that some people took too seriously. Though he does have mistrust and biases he keeps in his head towards anyone who isn't a sheep, it's a thought process born of trauma, when the entire Lands Of the Old Faith abandoned them to genocide. It's absolutely not irrational that he's wary of anyone who isn't sheep because they were ratted out and slaughtered to near extinction.
Sariel isn't racist because he's a fascist uneducated bigot. He has had no reason to trust anyone who isn't a sheep for most of his life. (Depending on how long the genocide went on, even my own timeline is a bit muddy with that but I'm winging all this so fuck it we ball)
It was either his whole life or most of his life having to live in survival mode against literally anyone who wasn't a sheep. That absolutely carries over. He doesn't like non sheep in Woolhaven not because he thinks sheep are superior, but because he learned that strangers are in fact very dangerous.
That's what makes Yngya's healing arc a good influence on him as well. He respects and obeys her, even when he disagrees because she's his goddess and he knows that she knows best. He's just a mortal after all. He's being forced to confront his own survival instincts that are losing their value in a world changing for the better.
The bishops are gone, a Lamb has taken over death, and the balance of the world (at least in the rp verse) is being returned. He needs to learn to trust again.)
(I realized I went off on a tangent separate from the wolves but yes, the wolves were definitely more hostile to the Sheep than anything. Sariel is justified in his bias against wolves. Especially after being tortured by them. (Canonically Rami too). Sariel is deeply uncomfortable having the wolves in Woolhaven. Even more so that he has to interact with them. He hates the wolves but is still choosing to warn them that they're also on a hit list.)
(Sariel) *He ignored the pounding fear in his heart at the wolf's attention. He handed over the hitlist.*

Mother! Cotton is working with Shamura to take down Sariel and Woolhaven.
(Okay, no. I'm going to stop this here. I blocked them for a reason. If she's still interacting, or getting involved in any way, then it's further proof I blocked her for good reason. In fact, anyone acting on behalf of Cotton better just block me now and stop interacting. This is really weird behavior, and you really need to recheck your morals. I'm a real person. If hating a fictional character is more important than the boundaries of a real person, that says a lot about your morality.)
*The wolves, lead by Byleth, were waiting by the statue to be given instructions to start rebuilding. Some wolves were, to say the least, the estatic to be "helping" the people who "killed their leader". But truly. they have no say in the matter.*
(Sariel) *He stopped dead after exiting the temple, his breathing beginning to pick up upon seeing Byleth. Heart racing he began to storm over, magic concentrating in his hand as he approached, only to stop again as Yngya appeared before the wolves, holding her hand out to stop him.*
Mother?
(Yngya) Peace, Sariel. Worry not, I won't ask you to interact further than this. Byleth, do you have anything to say to my Priest?
(Sariel) *He let out a scoff.* Mother, you shouldn't trust them. They could still be after your heart. Wolves aren't to be trusted.
(Yngya) we have a treaty in writing. Should they go against it, they're quite outnumbered. You may look after them if you wish, but I also have a few others to do that if you wish to remain away from those who have caused harm to you.
(Sariel) * He glared at the wolves.* I'll check in on them later. If they make any wrong moves, I won't hesitate.
(Yngya) Peace, for now, Sariel. They're serving a sentence of manual labor for what they e done. They'll be helping rebuild Woolhaven.
(Sariel) .... Fine, but they can start with transporting and chopping the wood and mining the stones. I don't trust them yet with the structure of our buildings.
(Yngya) *She turns to the wolves.* Does this sound fair?
Excellent. Byleth, Aniel has your copy of the treaty ready to be picked up when you're ready. Your overseers will tell you where the resource collection areas are. Any questions?
Asbeel: Between you and me you don't deserve breaks...
(Asbeel and Eleth apporached them, the tiger beetles arms were crossed as the ewe next to him was more patient and kind, shooting Asbeel a quick glare.)
Eleth: BUT since you are all working as peance, lunch will be served around noon and dinner in the late evening!
Breakfast as well as snacks. I want this treaty to mean something, you will be fed and hydrated as you work. You may also find a corner off the temple to sleep come nightfall.
Anya is live and ready to show you everything. Watch her strip, dance, and perform exclusive shows just for you. Interact in real-time and make your fantasies come true.
