Obi-wan was tired

His master just died by Mauls hand again and now Obi-wan is in charge of a 9 year old again.

Obi-wan was tired and so done

So Obi-wan drops Anakin off with Bant in the healing halls makes it clear he will come back and Anakin was not being abandoned. Then he goes down to the Creche to makes arrangements. Obi-wan gets himself quarters near Anakins new Creche clan.

Obi-wan was tired, he could barley get out of bed some days, flashes of the war always on his mind. The creche masters forced him to go to a mind healer. Anakin was always by his side and Obi-wan got out of bed because he didn't want Anakin inside all day and wanted him to make some friends.

Obi-wan was more working off a half made desperate plan but somehow it works. Creche Master Tamnka of the Mandin'ka Clan welcomed both with open arms, the adjustment was hard at first but everyone in the clan was told Anakin comes from a different culture and to be patient, they would meet people like him when they were older and go out into the galaxy.

So no one scolded Anakin for not addressing Masters as 'master' like in the past, no one blinked when Anakin disappeared in the middle of the night to sleep with Obi-wan in his bed, some kids even learned Huttese to talk to Anakin better.

It took a few weeks for Anakin to come out of his shell but when one of his new creche mates went to him for homework help because they don't understand droids and Anakin ended leading an impropt tutor session that 2 more younglings joined, things got better.

Many were upset with Obi-wan for 'throwing his life away' and 'he had so much potential' and could 'do so much for the galaxy' some even tried too take Anakin as their padawan but Master Tamnka is terrifying and after lecturing them and talking about how she was the one changing their diapers most stoped.

Obi-wan can't believe his depressed crisis plan worked but Anakin grows up in the Creche and Obi-wan somehow becomes a junior Creche Master taking care mainly Anakins clan but also being dragged to many other clans of various ages because it's important for a Creche Master to be well rounded and they work with all ages and change age groups every few years.

So Obi-wan talked to kids scared about not being chosen as padawans, cleaned paint out of his hair, and was there when Plo Koon brought Ahsoka to the Creche and Anakin Obi-wans took a shine to her.

Those years did wonders for both Obi-wan and Anakin, and Obi-wan who can't leave the Creche forced Feemor to take him on. Anakin was still a chaotic padawan, but now he had more connections, support, Feemor and Anakin have both gone to Obi-wan for help, and Anakin still occasionally spent time in the Creche, sometimes helping Obi-wan, sometimes not.

Obi-wan was honestly surprised when the Clone wars started, he just forgot living such a, not peaceful, he deals with kids everyday, but nice life.

Most people forgot about Obi-wan at that point so when he started sending people battle plans, good battles plans, many were surprised, but none of the Jedi new what they were doing so while Obi-wan still spend plenty of time with their most vulnerable, making sure their ok with the rising darkness and getting Masters to keep an eye on each other and their padawans, he also their best strategists.

Feemor got the 212th this life. It hurts.

The Vod'e don't know him but they know there's a amazing strategists somewhere in the Temple. They wondered why he wasn't a General at first until they realized he's helping everyone across the GAR and he's protecting the Jedis most vulnerable. The Vod understand how valuable children are.

But they know if a Jedi padawan needs help they'll be pulled from the GAR and kept in the Temple until he deems them ok, they know General Feemor Riida, General Skywalker, and Commander Tano are his family. They know whenever the Council gets mad about something they did Obi-wan is there to defend them, they know Obi-wan started a movement for clones rights, they know some Senators like Senator Organa and Senator Admidala speak the speeches he writes.

And they know after a terrifying few weeks where Ahsoka Tano and other padawans and inities were kidnapped by Separatists that dispite changing diapers he is terrifying on the field, can fight both Count Dooku, Ventrus, and General Grievous, and will stop at nothing to protect his kids.

After those few weeks everything changes, Chancellor Palpatine was a Sith, he was in charge of both sides, all the droid factories were blown up, the Vod'e have slave chips and a Jedi kill switch, the Jedi grabbed everything including by the GAR and left the Republic and the war is over because there's no one to do the fighting for the politicians anymore who've never seen a speck of blood in their life.

The Jedi and Vod'e become a truly neutral power that ignored those in power and focuses on helping the people in all territories. The Hutts are gone in 2 years, the only reason it took so long is they spent most of the time both stabilizing themselves and helping the people recover from the war.

Obi-wan gets "introduced" to Cody by Feemor. He's both different and the same.
