[Here's the whole thing, oh god... It's no longer a oneshot... Ugh =A=;; please excuse my probably OOC attempt at these characters, this is my first Avenger's fic]
âI donât have breasts Tony, Iâm not a woman.â Steve mumbled, voice light and breathy though he had tried to sound more commanding; it wasnât exactly working. âAnd my arm is sore.â His right arm was beginning to ache from its awkward position behind his back where it had been trapped after Tony caught him by surprise a few minutes earlier; his left arm working to keep him balanced. A small gasp, more shock then pleasure, escaped his mouth as Tony nipped the sensitive skin that was Steveâs nipple. His hands were cupping the super soldiers chest, groping his pectoral muscles in an odd way, not that he had had this happen before, but the way in which he was being groped was surely how one might have done it with a woman. Which he was not.
Tony hummed and let go, looking right up into Steveâs baby blue eyes. âYou certainly nag like one.â He teased with no real conviction. Steve sent him an indignant look and tried to ignore the slight creeping of red flourishing up on his cheeks. He didnât particularly want to give Tony anything else to tease him about.
âYes, but Iâm not one, so stop touching my chest like that.â
âGroping, this is called groping Steve, touching would be this.â The hand that had been cupping his left pectoral muscle moved up, and a single finger was placed on his nose. Steve fought not to focus on the finger rather then the smirking face behind it. Steve didnât understand what he saw in this man. Childish and egotistical, an adult that treated everything like a joke.
He sent Tony an aggravated look and twisted his head to dislodge the finger. Tony smirked wider sensing the challenge and simply placed his finger back on the bridge of the super soldiers nose. Steve narrowed his eyes as he glowered up at the billionaire. âThatâs fine. If you want we can stop and Iâll just go.â He growled, watching amused as a momentary flicker of panic crossed Tonyâs features. He could, if he wanted to, get up now and easily overpower the shorter man, but he chose not to. For the sake of Tonyâs pride and his own as he did not think that he could be so forward as Tony was being now. He had experience but not that much.
Tony removed his finger from Steveâs face with a slightly disappointed expression but when Steve made no move to leave it quickly returned to that cocky, self-assured smile. âAlright Capsicle, you win this round.â Steve let out a low, throaty chuckle at how quickly Tony had bent to his demand. At least the small argument had given him time to compose him self and to readjust his arm. Now both arms were bent at right angles, propping him up against Tony but at least now he was more comfortable.
They were quick to get back into it, Tony was probably getting impatient and Steve couldnât help but feel uneasy. The room they currently occupied was a spare office in the helicarrier and while the door had been locked after Tony entered, Steve never felt easy with the amount of privacy they got on there. Whether it was Director Fury or the other Avengers, he had never felt truly alone whenever he stepped onto the large air ship. Not that being alone was what he wanted but in terms of privacy, it was clearly lacking.
The feeling of Tonyâs mouth on his neck, sharply biting him, brought him back into the situation with a short gasp followed by a higher than he would have liked moan. His body reacted mutinously to the lavish attention it was receiving, tingling and bucking his hips underneath the warm body above him. At least he wasnât being groped any more.Â
Steve let him self fall back under Tonyâs spell of well-placed kisses and roaming hands. Enjoying the moment for what it was and letting his previous thoughts of worries slide to the back of his mind. He shouldnât worry as much as he does. So he tries his best not to and makes it his mission to just concentrate on the experienced mouth moving over his own, that tongue delving deeper in to the warm cavern of his mouth, the hands tracing his skin like a brand new canvas.
He finds that his own fingers are twitching against the table, lifting as though to grasp at something, anything to keep him grounded while Tonyâs mouth sends him to heaven. Another moan, deeper, much to his satisfaction, is involuntarily elicited from him. His hands finally make up their mind to move, lifting up to cup the shorter manâs face as they kiss. The beard that Tony maintained so neat and tidy was in slight need of a shave Steve noticed as his fingers grazed over it.
Tony breaks the kiss by biting his bottom lip and pulling away. His eyes are dark with unspoken lust, wanting, needing more than the make out session they were currently having. Steveâs breath was coming out more then a little ragged as they peered into each otherâs eyes.
He could see Tony swallow, oddly an almost painful motion and uncertainty appeared to be etched into his features. Such a foreign emotion to see in Tony Starkâs eyes that it threw Steve off. Tony must have seen the confusion slowly seep onto his face as less then a second later, his mouth was back against Steveâs, biting, licking and kissing him with so much enthusiasm that it bordered on desperate.
Steve found him self matching that enthusiasm with his own, his fingers grasped at the t-shirt, pulling Tony closer. The soft material of the billionaireâs aptly chosen attire (A Black Sabbath t-shirt) rubbed against his exposed stomach as Tony moved in a slow rhythm above him.
His skin felt hot and sweaty as their private âmeetingâ quickly changed from M to MA and was still escalating. It wouldnât be till afterwards that Steve would remember the strange look on Tonyâs face, and even later till he realised why that look had appeared in the first place. But in the here and now, Steve was lost to the passion that encumbered them both to the point where the knock on the door went unnoticed the first five times it occurred.
They only became aware of the sixth knock because a hammer was used.
âMan of Iron! Friend Captain! The Fury man does ask for you to come now.â Thor burst into the room, hammer to his right, and a shattered hellicarrier door to his left.
Tony leapt off Steve like Loki him self had burst into the room and turned Steve into a snake in his arms, hands quickly moving up to comb through his hair and fix it after Steve had run his own fingers through it. Steve half sat, half lay on the table, his own shirt still up over his chest, everything exposed to the Asgardian who stood grinning on the other side of the room. Steve knew his face had probably paled to white and his mouth was still open from the shock.
âBetter close your mouth Cap, you look like a carnival clown.â Steve shut his mouth tightly at Tonyâs snide comment and fumbled with his shirt, pulling it down hard and almost ripping it. At least he didnât have to worry about looking pale any moreâŚ
âMy apologies, I did not realise the nature of your relationship.â Thor said, still smiling broadly.
âWhat this?â Tony waved his hand around, vaguely gesturing to everything in the room. âI was just showing Steve mouth to mouth resuscitation.â Steve dipped his head down to hide his embarrassment at being caught, and Tonyâs not very convincing excuse. Thor raised an eyebrow, clearly not satisfied with Tonyâs poor alibi but the demi-god had enough sense not to question it. âNo questions? Good. Come on Cap, maybe you can show your new skills to Fury.â Steve didnât even need to look to see that Tony was probably smirking at him, that teasing look that was purely Tony Stark.
He shook his head before lifting it, hoping that the small amount of time might have calmed the flourish of red on his cheeks. If it hadnât neither man commented on it, which Steve was thankful for.
âCome good Captain!â Thor beamed, grabbing his strange hammer on the way. Steve smiled weakly as he followed him out. He could only hope the otherâs wouldnât know of this small âmeetingâ between Tony and him self. The teasing after that would be close to unbearable. So caught up in his thoughts that he didnât feel Thor lean down next to him till the demi-god spoke. âDo not worry friend Steve,â He whispered, voice still full of jest. âYour secret is safe with me.â
Steve knew that he could trust Thor not to say outright what they had been doing, but the demi-godâs lack of tact worried him in terms of he viewed Steve and Tony as being in a relationship. Which they were not. Not exactly. Steve tried hard not to dwell on it, as Tony had said when they first started, âthey werenât dating, they were just having funâ yet the genius did go out of his way to make sure the otherâs didnât know. Tony was walking in front of Thor and him self, hands in pockets, swaggering slightly down the hallway to where he knew the bridge would be. His carefree attitude after these activities they indulged in confused Steve but he had never mentioned it, least he be made the butt of yet another joke.
His steps slowed till he was basically shuffling through the hall, watching as Tony moved further and further away. He probably wouldnât want to walk in together; God forbid they give everyone the wrong idea. Thor appeared to notice his slowed down pace and stopped in order to let Steve catch up, matching the blondeâs apathetic steps once he had.
âFriend Steve, what is wrong?â His concern was genuine, like everything else about Thor. Steve admired him for that. Thor always told the truth, he was always open about everything and yet he still had troubles convincing his brother the same.
âNothing.â The most unconvincing lie ever told, Steve mused. Even Thor knew it was false.
âIf nothing was wrong, then you would not look as though the Sun just fell from the sky,â Thor stopped, placing a large hand over Steveâs shoulder. The motion was enough to stop him but he could feel the muscles working under the palm of Thorâs hand, ready to use force if necessary. Steve resisted the urge to shrug the hand off out of politeness, he really didnât feel like trying to explain all this to Thor, after all, it had taken Tony a good hour to explain the notion of âfriends with benefitsâ. Though right now, Steve didnât feel as though he was benefiting at all.
âIt is none of your concern.â He kept his voice flat, trying his best not to snap at Thor who just wanted to help. He did not know what he would he helping though, and this conversation only served to confuse him more.
Thor removed his hand from Steveâs shoulder slowly; the worry never left his face.
âThen know that I am here for when you wish to talk.â And the Asgardian left him standing in the hallway; guilt burrowing itâs way into his gut. He wanted to call out and apologise, but now wasnât the time. They were meeting to discuss what was most likely trouble and trouble was what Captain America dealt with best.
Pushing his feelings aside, Steve strode forward, confidence radiating off his body, as it was now Captain Americaâs time to shine.Â
