I attend the Creating Change Conference every year and am always overjoyed and energized by the unparalleled experience of being together with thousands of LGBTQ advocates and activists. I speak and lead workshop sessions aimed to inspire, motivate, and support activists, advocates, organizations, movement leaders and elected officials. My sessions usually have a focus on the artistic and creative approach to advocacy, both from the organizational and individual artist approach. During my sessions, and in so many of the other experiences at Creating Change, I too find myself inspired, motivated, and supported. That is the magic of Creating Change and the work of the National LGBTQ Task Force. Since my youth, I always understood the importance of making this world a better place and helping others. I brought this element into my own work as an actor, host, and filmmaker, in addition to my efforts in advocacy. I understand how important it is for me, and for everyone, to use their voices and actions to create change for the greater good.
