Was talking to the person i went with to the screening about the show and the scene where you find out jax is trans and they were like “what? Thats what that meant?” And i was like… yeah.. she mentions how she told her mom “something” and that she laughed and hugged her + that ribbit clearly understood and thats why she put a bow on her and the subsequent volatile reaction when kaufmo shows up, and they were like, “oh i thought she just did that because they were being silly and messing around as friends..” and its like. Wow. Thats really how cis people see the world. Like, they didnt pick up on that at all. They also didnt really believe me I think, like, they said something like “oh I guess ill need to look at that again because i didnt catch that” LIKE… yeah YOU PROBABLY WOULDNT you are not trans 💔 i need more trans friends i can drag to movies so they understand this stuff 💔
