UP IN MY SHOP! :)
Patrick's signature look — you know the one. powder-blue shirt, white cutaway collar, red tie. iconic. and Luis in That Yale Club Scene 🪞💦 — same blue shirt, same white collar, red tie. (a bow tie, but red.)
so the day Luis comes in to flex his shiny new business card — the kind that tips Patrick's murder-meter — he's mirroring the man he's about to flex it at. cute.
reinterpreting the look of someone you admire and actually pulling it off — that's not a thing most people can do, by the way.
(the bow tie stays, though. non-negotiable.)

Working on rebuilding my website and there's a bunch of art I've never shared that I'm rediscovering- I still like these character designs! I can't decide if they're robots...? girls...? I think of them kind of like "sisters" in the same "operating system"?? figuring this stuff out is fun!
he definitely fucks but there’s no way he fucks normal

love this part in the novel (a jaguar print jacket... what kind of taste is that)

Ever since reading the translator's afterword to American Psycho call Bateman "someone with an otaku-like sensibility," the phrase Geek Bateman hasn't left my head.
To put it in today's Japanese terms, Bateman is someone with an "otaku-like" sensibility. He blurs reality and image, takes pride in meticulous knowledge of his obsessions, and reacts with destructive excess against anyone who might disrupt the world he has built. The translator was left with the impression of a quintessentially contemporary novel—one that, perhaps, could just as well have been called Japanese Psycho.
— Takayoshi Ogawa, translator's afterword to American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis (Kadokawa Shoten, 1992)
