Crawford - Brook 11.14.20
A competitive fight last night until it wasnât -- Terrence Crawford may not have won a round out of the first three before a blazing fast check hook effectively ended the fight in the fourth. Outstanding, outstanding looks from both men -- this may be the best combination of trunks weâve seen this year.
Terrence had a great black and gold look.
Glossy leather Everlast trunks with gold cross-stitch trim, a offsetting gold waistband with CRAWFORD in black. Waistband:
The back of his trunks had a WBO patch but otherwise a clean look devoid of messy sponsors.
Some detail with focus on the TBC logo:
Matching black Everlast gloves also adorned with his logo:
I have to assume the footwear is Everlast as well although I donât see a brand name:
If you want to critique the look youâd note that the shade of gold from the waistband/cross-stitch/Everlast logo are slightly, slightly different. Thatâs a pretty common problem with fighters that use gold in their look. The differences in shade of gold here are pretty slight and therefore Iâll give it a pass.
Kell Brookâs look was a departure from his normal red and gold. I thought it really was an excellent look. White donned with red poppies, it was a tribute to Remembrance Day.
The trunks were white fading to black with red poppy trim down the side and bottom.
The poppies have texture and some of them are three - dimensional:
The waistband had SPECIAL with gold across the front, adorned with Union Jackâs on either side:
Youâll notice from the side view that the poppies form a cross (or possible a reference to the flag of England):
Brook wore red, silver and black Grant gloves:
and red and black Nike footwear:
Great looks from both fighters.
