whimsy just knows when she's pregnant, she gets a feeling while doing something and is like 'oh, I'm pregnant' and keeps doing whatever she was doing and billy's not around so she just like forgets that's something he should know bc she assumes he just does 😭

but like one day he comes in and she's reading, laying on her back, eating cottage cheese mixed with chocolate and caramel syrup and dipping carrots and celery into it and billy's like 🤨 bc wtf

she keeps reading, "I'm pregnant."

ok so i haven’t actually given much thought to how she and billy break up…BUT me and 🌿 anon did message each other a while back with how darlin and tadhg got together!!

and yes darlin and billy are endgame.

one of cherry's favorite activities is party hopping. cherry's a sweet talker and she knows people, so she can basically get into any party she wants to. of course she begins to drag billy along with her.

at first, he doesn't get it. why not just stay at one party and enjoy that? but he went along with it. he would go along with basically anything cherry said, if we're being honest. so, they begin to hop. billy starts to get how fun it is. it's not the act of hopping itself--it's the time in between. driving in his topless car, the wind in their hair, already a little tipsy, the music blasting and their laughter mixing.. it was fucking perfect. it was the most fun he had in awhile.

like maybe him and muse are at a park or something and she went to the bathroom so he’s just sitting there and a girl comes up to him and starts flirting.

and billy just sits there awkwardly because he’s trying his best to ignore it but also it’s billy dunne but he’s trying and when muse comes back she’s just like “hey man wtaf”

and cue billy trying to get for forgiveness while the girl runs off awkwardly

yes, and it def caused problems bc muse is used to a billy that cheats and therefore has trust issues, he says he's done with that and he is, but she doesn't believe him at first so is very sensitive ab it

they're at a diner and muse comes back from the restroom to see a waitress (not even their's) very overtly flirting with billy, and billy is trying, he's kinda being stanoffish at first but then she's saying she's a big fan and getting him to talk more about music things but she's also very obviously flirting

and muse sits back down and the waitress is like oh shit and walks off, muse is just quiet at first and billy is kind of like ??? and keeps trying to start up conversation but muse is just all "I'm done, are you done?"

and when he agrees and he pays and they leave she's basically speedwalking back to the car, billy is all, "baby, what's wrong?"

she's stopping dead in her tracks to look at him, "I was literally gone for like 3 minutes!" and she's yelling at him

then he realizes what's going on and he feels bad be he knows this is a creature of his own creation, "baby, I wasn't- she came up and i was just trying to be nice, I didn't- look, I only have eyes for you, you're my girl." and muse nods but he can tell she doesn't really believe him, why would she, she's played these games before. "I promise, that time, when I was fucking up and hurting you, it's over. I don't want anyone else, you're the one for me. you want me to never look at another woman again? done."

the idea is so ridiculous that it's got her laughing and then that kickstarts the tears from all that deep down pain and he's rushing over hugging her, apologizing for all he put her through

like girls who genuinely liked him and he would just either mope and rave (good or bad) about muse (like Tom in 500 days of summer fr) OR seems would be seemingly great, she's met the band, really touchy and BOOM he breaks up with her bc muse wants him again

he dragged so many other women in it who were genuinely interested

thinking ab how all the time before daisy, muse just wanted a best friend and that is how she saw eddie, she wanted a best friend and he weasled his way out of that to manipulate her further until she eventually gave in

everyday billy wakes up first to muse in his arms and just lays there smiling at her bc she's so pretty, and then when she does wake up, he'll carry her into the kitchen and set her on the counter to make coffee and plays one of her favorite records, kissing at her, trying to wake her up more

once she's woken up a little bit she'll start making them breakfast, except they're literally all over each other so it's a slow slow process, and then eat together, lay on the couch intertwined, watch TV, if there's a crossword, they do the crossword, and she'll sit on his lap as he kisses the back of her head. then they take a shower together.

I think the only work muse would do once her and billy are married is some occasional songwriting just because she wants to spend every second of every day with him and money isn't a problem. but they make a somewhat public appearance by going shopping or to the beach or just for a drive, or she makes him hang out with kent and kent's wife. they usually eat lunch out.

and then go back home to be domestic and cuddly and kissing, watching any night shows as billy makes dinner and muse bakes something, at the same time bc they just do no matter how inconvenient 😭 muse will read to him from a book or a gossip colum she thought was interesting, after they've eaten they like to sit on the porch, and she'll sit on his lap most nights as they talk and giggle or other nights he'll play songs for her.

he usually does the dishes now, she'll try to help but get distracted by the tv or just talking so he'll sit her on the counter and keep working. when he's done he'll sweep her back up again and back to the bedroom where they slowly get ready for bed, talking, just being cute, they usually probably end up fucking then on top of other random times throughout the day bc they're still horny asf 😭 and then yeah fall asleep in each other's arms

but honeybee catches feelings fast and daisy still has her whole thing with billy which honeybee resents so they fight and go off and on ab their situation a lot

honeybee will in fact allude to daisy being a homewrecker I fear and writes songs (wrote the giver and daisy made a comment to the press alluding how that song was not true 'it's nice seeing artists tell stories that aren't just there own')

gets SO upset with daisy marries nicky and ends up getting engaged to a popstar (except he's gay and in the closet publicly so really they're just each other's beards) in retaliation

shes an emotional person overall, screaming, crying all that

I don't think her and daisy become an item item until both of them have gone to rehab fr fr

couple who's up until 5 am blasting music to dance and sing in their kitchen while eating a whole bucket of ice cream, a sheet cake, and a pizza fr fr

but it’s a good thing that muse never died and she’s actually in her like 60s/70s now with her grandchildren!!!

however if she did die, the interviews would be so hard to get through for billy because he has to talk about all the shit he did to her for years and years and realize all the time he did that for and now she's not even around anymore. he wasted so much of their lives and it haunts every aspect of the story, thinking about what was going on between then at every turn.

and eddie never got over her so she haunts his too.

and her and daisy became so close so daisy has to mourn her too.
