Taking us home on the last day of June: Mollymauk Tealeaf for the Pride Month Critical Quotes Collection. Long may he reign.
veth's thing with yasha truly was there from the very very beginning
Kara, maybe flirting a little bit : "Looks like we're in bed one way or the other !"
Beau, a lesbian who knows a good overture when she hears one : "Well. I mean..."
Fjord, who has already enough of his friend's lesbian shenanigans, even though we're only at episode 14 : "Leave that one alone. Just go."
Nein in Hindsight: CR2E14
“The Lucien from two years ago, from two years ago, it’s Lucien, remember? It’s been ages.” I love how quickly Yasha slides into supporting Molly’s cover story. (16:00)
“I don’t mind rolling with this name, Lucien, but does it bring any extra trouble with it?” Oh, Fjord, none of you, including Molly, have any idea how much extra trouble goes with this name. (17:00)
Fjord is the levelheaded responsible leader of the group right up until a big red button appears, like the Gentleman challenging him to a high stakes gambling game. Cool as a cucumber, upping the stakes, all in on every penny he has, he rolled some real good fucking dice and he played it so smoothly. (35:40)
Nott vs. the Gentleman is so fucking fun. What a moment. (48:56)
Fjord and Caleb have such fun conversations. “Calculated risks.” (1:09:25)
All of this Lucien and Nonagon shit hits so differently now. (2:03:00)
Fucking fascinating to rewatch this conversation with the knowledge of both Nott and Molly’s backstories. He’s so opposed to engaging in anything of it, while Nott is just laser focused on the concept. (2:05:00)
God, this also makes so much more sense now, the fortune telling bullshit, Beau being like “some people are vulnerable and looking for answers.”(2:16:00)
Man, this campaign just has SO MANY good dynamics that built up so beautifully and slowly. The Caleb and Yasha dynamic makes me smile so much. (2:40:00)

I think what I appreciate most about CR is the creative storytelling. I know Matt is basically the brains, especially when it comes to how Exandria is described, discussed, and exposed in each episode. And I find I can relate to every character so far in some way, because they are meant to be relatable.
But hot damn, Taliesin slays in the character creation department. I fucking love both Percy and Molly. The absolutely insanity surrounding both characters is ah-mazing.
What a time to be alive.
Nott showing she's good at flying under the radar, exaggerating her fear, blatantly lying and being extra skittish until the very moment she asks the right question. The Mighty Nein has shown they're plenty capable, what can the Gentleman show them in return?
The only good thing to come out of Laura missing episodes is a table full of talented/accomplished voice actors trying and failing to mimic Jester’s accent.
