WIP Folder Game! I'd like to hear more about "With Friends Like These..." :)
I am SO glad someone asked!
I'm sure most of you would recognize the quest name-- it's the one you get at the start of Skyrim's Dark Brotherhood questline. My WIP that unfortunately is unlikely to ever see a Chapter 2 follows the story of the three throwaway NPCs the game presents for you to kill on the day before they were kidnapped: Vasha, Alea Quintis, and Fultheim the Ironically Named.
But hey, for fun, here are excerpts from each of their appearances!
Fultheim: "Had he actually been Fearless, he’d have asked people to stop-- but at his young and impressionable age of thirty-one, he was extremely susceptible to peer pressure."
Vasha: "For how much he liked to run his mouth about the leagues of virgins he’d “deflowered,” he sure didn’t like to open it when it really mattered. You’d be lucky to get a few sad grunts from him, and it’d be a sunny day in Oblivion to get this man on his knees. He claimed it was because he didn’t like how it felt on his whiskers. He really ought to have been studied. "
Alea: "The Quintis household would be in a more ordered state if a dragon swept down and blew the thing to pieces. Alea wished it would happen, too. Coming home, she’d sometimes stop halfway up the path, just close enough to hear the cacophony of noise oozing out of the walls and just stare at it. Maybe, if she stared hard enough, she could summon enough magicka to obliterate the whole thing right then and there, overcoming her natural inaptitude for magic by the sheer force of her own spite.
If she was lucky, there’d be no survivors."
It's a shame I'm unlikely to finish this, because all three of them are VERY entertaining to write for. But anway, thank you for asking!
