Elemental Attunement. The colossus is attuned to one element. As a bonus action it can choose acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage. The colussus gains immunity to the chosen damage type, and its Elemental Presence, Slam, Colossal Slam, and Primordial Stone abilities deal the same damage type.
Elemental Presence. At the start of each of the colossus' turns, each creature within 10 feet of it takes 10 (3d6) acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage (Elemental Attunement).
Legendary Resistence (3/Day). If the colossus fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Actions
Multiattack. The colossus makes two slam attacks.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 24 (3d10+8) bludgeoning damage plus 26 (6d8) acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage (Elemental Attunement).
Primordial Stone. Ranged Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, range 60/5 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (3d8+8) bludgeoning damage. Hit or miss, the rock then explodes. The target and each creature within 10 feet of it must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 26 (3d8) acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage (Elemental Attunement), and be knocked prone.
Colossal Slam. The colossus smashes both hands into the ground, creating an elemental explosion in a 15 foot cube originating from the colossus. Each creature in that area must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, taking 45 (10d8) acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage (Elemental Attunement), or half as much damage on a successful one.
Crafted by entire councils of archdruids and animated by natural spirits, primordial colossi are nature’s wrath incarnate. Elemental power flows through them, dripping, sparking, or rumbling from their form as it changes according to the colossus’ will, and is unleashed into their foes. The colossus is most dangerous in close proximity, though even creatures that seek to keep their distance are vulnerable as it can infuse collected stones with its elemental power, which explodes when they throw the stone at a target.Â
Primordial colossi are made from rough hewn stone, rather than the smooth and reinforced structures of godforged colossi. They are usually augmented with plant matter, though more for decoration than structural reasons. They are usually between 23 and 25 feet tall, and average just over 100 tons in weight.
