I just looked up primates for sale in Texas bc I was curious and there are hundreds and hundreds for "adoption" from what look to be breeders and I'm just bamboozled. Why is that still legal anywhere??
It should not be legal-- Contact your local representative and ask them to support the Captive Primate Safety Act!

Cpsa is a Sentinel cube adopted by the last Prime Minister of the Cube Society.
before Alpha A018226 took over the Cube Society, moved the cube people out of their dying planet and integrated them to her reign, Cpsa was raised up to become a willing sacrifice: one day they were going to be connected to the power core, and all of their mindâs energy would be drained to use as fuel to keep the struggling society afloat for just a little bit longer.
the power core was an unsustainable energy source. it had lots of harmful effects to the climate and nature of the cubesâ planet, and it had to be fueled by people. being connected to it meant years of neverending pain and agony without rest. the power core was the biggest reason why the planet was becoming uninhabitable, but it was also the Cube Societyâs only hope in producing technology needed to escape the home that was turning into a grave.
before Cpsa, all the cubes who became fuel would be selected among their peers on early age, and they would one day get âtransferredâ to work on another location, never to be seen again by anyone except those who tended to the power core. selecting the next sacrifice was done by the Supervisor. the PM wanted to try a different approach, and with the (hesitant) approval of the rest of the Cabinet, she adopted a young Sentinel cube. Cpsa was physically weaker than a standard Sentinel, but stronger than a basic cube, so the PM saw them as potentially less useful as a police unit but more long-lasting as fuel.
when Cpsa was growing, the PM began to love them as her child. (the cubes reproduce by cloning and donât have parents, so this was very unusual.) she no longer felt that her idea of raising a child to become fuel willingly was a good idea. her original point was to get rid of the extremely unethical way of abducting victims to use as fuel by replacing the unwilling victims with a willing one. after bonding with Cpsa however, she couldnât stand the thought of them being trapped in suffering for years. no longer could she distance herself from the feelings she had always done her best to ignore: she finally understood how wrong it all was, and couldnât avoid it anymore. she didnât want Cpsa to become fuel, nor did she want anyone else to do that.
in that sense, Alpha arrived just in time to take over the Cube Society. in a more general sense, she was late. the whole nation of the cubes had been on the brink of dying to either the stress they all went through or the destruction of the planet. there are not many things Alpha regrets, but one is that she didnât go to the cubesâ planet earlier.
Cpsa was given the fortune of getting to grow up healthy and without the fear of dying young after years of pain. they love the PM like a mother, and rarely leave her side. Cpsa and the PM have been to therapy together to discuss what used to hang over Cpsaâs head and all of the thoughts and feelings connected to that and other strains on their relationship.
Cpsa became an ambassador for Alpha, giving a more human, more empathic face to the AI empressâs offers of help. they are happy, which used to be rare for a cube of any class. survivors of the Cube Society got a new chance in life.
Last weekend (September 8th and 9th), I traveled to New Jersey and experienced my first âconâ-like event. It was great! Iâve been wanting to go to comic con and other conventions for a long time now, so that was truly an experience Iâll treasure.Â
What I love about events like these is that your favorite tv shows, books, movies, and characters come to life. Thereâs so much creativity being displayed by different âfandomsâ and it feels nice to participate in that. I normally love dressing up and cosplaying, but did not do much with my outfit because of time and other factors. It was nice seeing other people showcase their creativity through cosplay. Being at such an event made me want to start preparing for Halloween early and even tackle Baltimore Comic-Con, which is next weekend.Â
There were a lot of stands where independent retailers were showcasing and selling their work. There were lots of cool things, cute little trinkets and merchandise from tv shows and movies. There was a really good blend of retailers, some who make all their art by hand, others who resell bigger brand items like Funko Pop figurines. There were even people doing live speed-painting, tattoos, and engraving names in rings for customers.Â
PANEL
Arguably, one of my favorite things from this fan fest was the panels. I got to meet several stars from DC Superhero shows. Shows included Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Gotham, and more. I watched the Flash Panel with Candice Patton (A.k.a: Iris West-Allen) and Hartley Sawyer (Ralph Dibney). They talked about their experiences working on the show, their life before, the impact they feel playing their character has on the public, and their past and future aspirations. I also got to meet and talk with them. They were so nice and down-to-earth, which made the experience of meeting them even better. I also watched the panel of Arrow: New School. This, to me, was the most entertaining part of the event. Everybody was so funny and their personalities meshed well with each other. I also got to see how talented they all were, even beyond acting. A fan had asked one of the members for a âbeat-box offâ, which the actor accepted to. Before I knew it, other actors on the panel were also beat-boxing and I learned that all 5 of them were skilled in that art. The only person from Arrow who I got to meet was Echo Kellum (Mr. Terrific). He was super nice and funny. It was truly a good time.
Just simply seeing the starts in real life humanize them a lot for me. They all looked so happy and full of life, which you do not always see on camera. It also makes me realize even more so that they are just everyday people like me. Yet, they can achieve their dream, bring happiness, and influence so many people. Seeing that really makes all my artistic and career dreams seem more tangible.

It terms of value & performance for a used clay shotgun, it doesn't get much better than this! Near Mint Lanber Sporting Lux #claypigeon #shooting #gunshop #cpsa #shotgun #shotguns (at A Branthwaite Gunsmiths)
For the preliminary research portion of my project, I researched the food and music traditions of Italy. Interestingly, so much of what I found was based on geopolitical trends. For example, the trade of new spices brought new flavors into Italian cooking, and religious importance influenced the styles of music. Also with music, politics plays a heavy influence. Imperialism and and colonization played huge roles in shaping cultural norms and styles. There are aspects of Italian folk music that can be traced back to Spanish/Moorish traditions from occupation in the south. I think that in representing music cultures through food, I can try to dissect the ingredients and flavor combinations of the food I choose, and match those to cultures from around the world from which I can draw musical inspiration.Â
