Video #DetrasDeLaPortada La foto de portada está hecha en Oliden, Provincia de Buenos Aires; un pueblito que podes encontrar haciendo mucho zoom en Google maps. La nota cuenta cómo la preexistente crisis educativa pública en Latinoamérica se profundizó aún más en contexto de pandemia; siendo las familias rurales -con poco o ningún acceso a una compu o a internet- las más afectadas. Mucha de la acción de ese día se centralizó en el esfuerzo autogestionado de una gran caravana para repartir alimentos y material de estudio a lo largo de una ruta que atraviesa campos. Pero yo no podía conformarme solo con eso e intuía que mis imágenes estarían escondidas un poco más atrás de la linea de acción. Al fondo de la escuela me encontré con patios de recreo donde los pastizales abrigaban juegos vacíos. Cuando vi el mástil entendí que era necesario hacer un acto simbólico, psicomágico. Le propuse a la maestra izar la bandera aunque no haya nadie alrededor… como un gesto de fortaleza y resiliencia. A small town discoverable only by zooming to the depths of Google maps. The story tells about how the preexistent public educational crisis in Latin America got worse in the pandemic context. Being rural families the most affected, with little or no access to a computer or internet. Most of the action occurring that day was centralized in the effort of a self-supported caravan run by the teachers of the school to deliver food and study material.
