I also have a longer post, in mind, but to sum it all up...

Leshy vs Eidon: There's really not much of a defense here for Leshy. He's kind of an ass and it kind of hinted early on that he did threaten his followers, so there's no defending Leshy on this one.

Heket vs Thoas: Heket was a God of famine. That is actually more important to explain my point. She symbolizes food shortages, hunger, and basically prevents it for her people by making the farms flourish with crops. What if when Heket chooses disciples, she makes them starve for a long period of time, have them go through the darkest and terrifying moment of their lives because going hungrier is in a way bringing them closer to Heket in a way. By being part of the darkest side of famine, making that person closer to Heket and being in her inner circle. Meaning Heket was being honest to Thoas about giving them more power, but the cost for it was too much for Thoas to handle. (I know there's not much evidence in the game to really back me up on this one, but just think about how real life cults would test their followers loyalty to them, and the most loyal would be a high ranking follower. That's kind of where my mind was going when defending Heket on this)

Kallamar vs Mestor, Festor, and Nestor: So the research tablet 2 hinted that Marchosias was the one who made Mestor mute, not Kallamar. I don't really know what else to say for them. (Edit: I want to add another point here as well, mostly if someone will argue that "most people don't look at the the lore/research tablet so most people don't take them face value" here's another way to look at it. It could be that Kallamar really did treat Mestor of his illness. The boys never really specify what sickness Mestor had, just that he was sick ever since he was a pup. It could be that Kallamar was limited on options and had little to no choice but to "make Mestor mute." Also need to point out, we only know the power and limits when it comes to the red crown. The rest of them are a mystery.)

Shamura vs Gorgo: Hate wording it like this, but I don't know how else to say it, but... Shamura's practically brain dead when they were still a God. They spoke in riddles to not only their enemies (AKA the Lamb) but also their siblings. It could be a good chance that Gorgo (and a few others in Silk Cradle) interpret Shamura's wording to a tee and misunderstand what they really mean. Also, before someone says, "Maybe Gorgo was part of Shamura's cult before Narinder broke their skull." I like to mention that Narinder was locked up for more than 1,000 years, and there's nothing in game that hints that the members of the free pack found a way to become immortal. In other words, they only know Shamura to be a brain-dead, riddles speaking idiot, and may have followed Shamura's words so well that it ended up hurting them in the end.

Again, I don't like to defend the bishops (or really anyone in the game (except for Lamb, maybe)). However, this game has been pretty neutral towards everyone up to woolhaven.

Like through everyone's perspective, they're the good guy in their own story but also the bad guy in someone else's story. So it kinda comes out of the left field that they just bash the bishops the entire DLC.

So here I am defending the bishops, the one and only time.

Ah yeah. That fucker. Not much to say. married for six years before he got it in his head that she was "having an affair with Leshy" which. Sir she was a priestess, she's around him because she WORKS for him.

Turned her in to the other three for an undisclosed reward. Leshy decided to interpret reward as "I'll just maul you instead of killing you for having no loyalty to your family, asshole."

Fled to the mountain with a two year old Abas, joined the free pack while claiming Leshy attacked him for no reason.

I will try to tell you all the lore about them that we know so far. Furthermore, you can corroborate some of this information on the wiki, since I added the Research Tablets to the wiki ^^

Abas and Eidon

In this case, I included these two because I feel the position is closely related to both of them. Eidon was once a follower of Leshy, who tells us that their mind was caged and cowed, most likely due to their fear of Leshy and his cruelty. As for Abas, we don't know what she did or what her connection is to the Free Pack, but she was left starving by Eidon, which made her quite feral, and we see her vomiting from time to time, probably due to stomach upset and not having eaten.

Thoas

We know that Thoas was honorable and dedicated their youth to Heket. Heket had promised them power, or security; this small correction makes me wonder what she actually offered. In any case, Thoas always wanted to prove their worth to her by going hungry, something that amused Heket.

Gorgo

Gorgo appears to be severely affected by the rot, their entire body mutated as a result. They tells us that they spent their entire life fulfilling Shamura's violent will, killing and fighting. Later, they realized that their battles were pointless and that they was merely treated as a game.

Mestor, Festor and Nestor

Two of the three brothers tell us that their brother Mestor is mute due to a curse from Kallamar. But thanks to the Research Tablet II, it seems this isn't true, as it mentions pups that Marchosias experimented on, one of whom was left mute. This situation aligns with the circumstances of these three brothers, who seem to have no memory of their youth.

Witness Ipos

Witness Ipos, we don't know much about them, what could be special I already mentioned in another post, but to summarize that, the event that this Witness witnessed was the fall of The Icegore as a deity, it should be emphasized that this is a theory, and it is not something canon.
