I went into your corvid posting tag thinking it would be full of shiny things like a crow might collect and it was actually just all crows and I thought that was way funnier than it deserved to be 😂
Lol! Ok so if you’re not familiar with the Sandman tv show or graphic novels, there is a talking raven character named Matthew and a few years ago I wrote what turned into a semi-popular series of fan fiction about him called Matthew the Emotional Support Raven (here’s my master post if you’re curious). The second story was inspired by a video of a real raven and then people kept sending me photos and videos of ravens and crows, some of which I used as inspiration for more stories but all of which I organized under the corvid posting tag. I officially ended the series in 2023 but I’ve kept using the corvid posting tag.

So I moved into a new neighborhood at the beginning of September, after two years of homelessness. And there is this resident murder of crows (and a couple of grackles tagging along with them), that's doing the rounds between blocks in this street. There isn't a day in which these guys are not around.
My rental agreement has a clause SPECIFICALLY stating to not feed any neighboring animals so you just KNOW there's history.
I am sorry, it will happen again
