When Cody had agreed to let the Corries take the lead on the mission, given that these streets are the Guardsâ home turf, this is not what heâd had in mind.
âThis is supposed to be a discreet recon.â He presses out from between his teeth, his knuckles turning white around the bright, acid yellow cup of some force-forsaken monstrosity of a cocktail.
âTrust me.â Their guide, a Corrie detective from the 98th precinct, replies without even the barest hint of concern in his voice. âYou are soldiers, on shore leave. Youâre expected to be hitting the clubs, and my contact operates out of this one tonight. Itâs a win-win.â
âAnd they love clones at this one.â The other Corrie, the sergeant of the same precinct, says in such a way that the vocoder of his helmet somehow does nothing to smother the teasing tone.
âSo,â he lazily waves a hand through the air, âhere we are. Relax a bit, huh? You look suspicious, all tense like that.â
âNo, no, Sarge.â The detective pipes up immediately. âItâs so nice of us, isnât it? Dragging out our very pent-up and shy soldier brothers for a night on the town? Poor things donât know how to have fun, only the war. Weâre so good to them, right? Showing them how to live a little before they have to ship back out.â
The sergeantâs shoulders shake, and Cody realizes heâs laughing. It makes something sour curl in the commanderâs gut, at how little the Corries appear to be taking this seriously.
Beside him, the grinding of Rexâs teeth is almost audible under the pounding bass.
This. This is exactly why the GAR donât get along with the Corries. Uppity assholes who clearly have far too much time on their hands, if this is their idea of recon.
From where heâs been sandwiched in between the two Guards, Codyâs general casts both of them a quelling look, complete with one pointedly arched eyebrow.
Obi-wan Kenobi takes a prim sip from his drink, a moss green blended concoction topped with a tiny, pink umbrella and salt clinging to the rim of the small, circular glass.
âThey are not entirely incorrect, my friends.â The Jedi says, looking both entirely out of place under the strobe lights of the nightclub and also strangely at home. âIf you hold yourself braced for a fight, then a fight is what tends to find you. We are not currently in any danger, and I quite doubt that the honorable Coruscant Guards would lay a trap for their own brothers.â
âYeah, listen to your general.â The detective lightly ribs. Cody catches Rex sneering at the man for the disrespectful tone. âWeâre already here, why not enjoy it until itâs back to business?â
âAnd when, exactly, was your contact planning to show up?â Rex grouches, arms crossed over his chest.
The drink before him, a blue and purple gradient with edible pearls swirling in its depths, sits untouched. Half of the tiny, glimmering white spheres have already melted into the foam.
âWeâve already been here over an hourââ
The captainâs complaints are interrupted when loud jeers and whistling break out across the floor.

âHello, cyare.â Fox attempts a smile.
âFox⌠What are you doing here?â You ask him, trying not to glance at Nell whoâs standing on the other side of the door toward your hall closet, with her blaster trained on you.
Gripping your elbows tightly when you cross them, you try to keep your shaking hidden so Fox doesnât notice and try to come in. Your heart clenches at the sight of him, though. It feels as if the universe is playing some sick game on you.
âI needed to see you⌠to explain.â He looks like he wants to reach out toward you.
âThis⌠this isnât a good time, Fox. Iâm sorry.â You start to push the button to close the door but he reaches out toward you and you push his hand away as Nell starts to step toward you. âGo away.â
âWhat? After you come into my office today, you suddenly donât want to speak to me?â He looks desperate to understand.
You shrug your shoulders. âI heard a womanâs voice and panicked⌠but I realize now how dumb I was and I shouldnât have done that. Iâm sorry.â
âYou wonât even let me explain?â He searches your eyes.
âThereâs nothing to explain. I understand youâve moved on. I- I have too.â You lie.
âYou have?â He murmurs.
You nod your head, just praying to the maker that he doesnât see through your lie. He looks away for a second and you take that time to glance at Nell. She motions for you to get rid of him.
âIâve got to go.â You slam the close button before he can say anything else, and the door slides shut.
Staring at the door a moment before acknowledging Nell, you attempt to gather your thoughts and then turn toward her.
âWhatâs the plan here, Nell? You gonna shoot me?â You ask her.
She raises the blaster toward your face. âThis obviously wasnât planned at all. I donât want to shoot you.â
Think⌠Think⌠Fox used to tell you that if you ever found yourself in trouble, you should try to buy yourself more time. You look at Nellâs cup of tea on the counter.
âListen⌠There's no reason that this needs to end badly, Nell. I understand why you did what you did. I do.â You start to subtly search with your eyes for your comm.
Where did you put it?
âWe needed the Senateâs attention. You figured out how to get it. Do I agree with you? No. Iâm sorry. I wish I did. If we use violence like that, weâre no better than the Republic using the clones as weapons.â
There it is. You see it across the room on the end table by the couch. Trying to keep Nell calm, you hand her the cup of tea and she reluctantly takes it as you lead her to the couch to sit.
You keep talking as you walk behind her, around the couch, stepping in front of the comm so that she doesnât see it, and silently comm Fox, muting it so you canât hear him, but he can hear you.
âListen⌠Nell⌠Youâre one of the best friends that I have⌠that bomb that you set off at the protest that day got everyoneâs attention.â Fox listens to your voice, confused. âIt got the Senateâs attention, it got the Jediâs attention⌠It even got Palpatineâs attention. You should be proud of yourself.â
Nell⌠Your partner with the Clones Rights group⌠That explains why you were acting strange.
âKriff⌠Kriff kriff kriffâŚâ Fox rushes, hanging up to comm his brothers and General Skywalker.
He just hopes theyâre not too late.
Nell listens to you as you continue to lie and feed her ego, just trying to keep her calm, buying yourself time until you can come up with a better plan or Fox shows up with backup. She seems to be calming down. Sheâs still holding the blaster as she sips the tea out of that silly fox mug that you got for Fox. Youâre sort of glad that you didnât throw it out or give it to Fox when he came for his stuff all those months ago. Itâll be a nice last reminder of him in case Nell does decide to shoot you.
Fox is standing outside of your apartment building when Thorn, Thire, Hound, and Stone show up with Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano.
âWhatâs the situation, Commander?â Anakin asks, looking up at the building.
Fox explains what he heard through the comm, about Nell and the bomb. He tries to keep the panic out of his voice so that the general doesnât have anything to use against him if he suspects Foxâs involvement with you.
âAnd just how does this girl have your comm channel, Commander?â Anakin asks Fox with a quirked eyebrow, clearly amused.
âUh. Well, you see, sir⌠She kept getting arrested and I was tired of⌠doing paperwork so I told her if she needed helpâŚâ Fox starts rambling, clearly terrible at trying to lie.
He doesnât even have to look at his brothers to know theyâre definitely going to give him shit at some point after this is all over. They all look pretty serious currently, staring up at the building and then waiting for General Skywalkerâs command. He forgot how much they cared for you. Thorn is your best friend. He should thank Thorn later for taking care of you while he was being stupid the last six monthsâŚ
All this time⌠wasted⌠time he could have spent protecting you from this sort of thing happening. He owes you the biggest apology of a lifetime. He just hopes he gets the chance to apologize.
âAhsoka and I will rush the bomber. Commander Fox- you and your men just make sure that your riduur gets out safe.â Skywalker winks at Fox. âI assume you know which apartment is hers?â
Fox doesnât have time to play stupid, because he nods and follows General Skywalkerâs lead up the stairs to your apartment, leading him to your door.
âYouâre lucky you fell out of love with Fox when you did.â Nell tells you.
âI never stopped loving him.â You correct her.
She stares at you for a moment, a little shocked that you corrected a person holding a blaster toward you. You shrug. Thereâs no point in denying it. You love Fox more than anything in the entire galaxy. Broken up or not broken up, nothing would change that.
âI donât think itâs possible for me to stop loving him.â You tell her, tears suddenly springing to your eyes.
All these months, wasted, when you could have been together. And now⌠death is staring you in the face and you didnât even get to tell him you loved him one last time. Maker, how stupid youâve been. If perhaps youâd just listened to Fox when he begged you to stop all of this⌠you wouldnât be in this situation.
âWhat Fox and I had⌠was beautiful⌠Maybe weâll be lucky to find each other again in another life.â You look at Nell, fully, in the face. âOne where maybe heâs free from the Republic and Iâm not stupid and I listen to him the first time.â
Nell puts the tea cup down on your caf table and then stares at you for a long moment. She seems like she wants to reach out toward you, but you just stare right back. Sheâs going to do what she wants to do.
She stands up. âIâm going to leave Coruscant⌠start over⌠your speech about another life has me thinking⌠maybe thereâs more to life out there in the galaxy.â She tucks the blaster back in her pants and you let out a breath you didnât even realize youâd been holding. âIf you donât come looking for me⌠maybe we can let this all go?â
You nod and then she nods, heading for the door, which all of a sudden opens forcefully that only a Jedi could have done. You and Nell both glance at the door in time to see Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano rush in, pushing Nell to the ground.
She stares at you, wide eyed and shocked. âYou tricked me.â
âIâm sorry.â You murmur.
Fox rushes in immediately, toward you and you let out a soft whimper as he pulls you into his arms, not even caring that a Jedi general of the clone army is in the same room.
âIâm so sorry-â You both rush out.
âNo, cyare⌠Iâm so sorry⌠I should have been here to protect you.â He cups your face so that he can look you in the eyes.
âYouâre going to regret this.â Nell glares at you.
âThatâs enough.â General Skywalker warns her, his voice going dark.
If you didnât know any better, youâd think Skywalker had a little dark side to him. You donât have time to dwell on it because Fox pulls your face toward his so you donât have to watch them take Nell away.
Foxâs fingers caress your cheeks and you canât stop staring up into those familiar brown eyes that you missed more than anything.
âWeâll just go thenâŚâ Thire starts to push the other guards out.
Thorn takes off his helmet and pats you on the back. âIâm so glad youâre alright.â
âMe too.â You breathe. âThanks for being there for me.â
âAnytime.â He smiles.
Thorn then pats Fox on the back with a nod. âSee you later, vod.â
Fox nods back before Thorn leaves your apartment. When the door shuts, you look up at Fox again, just glad that you get to be near him again.
âI love you, you know. I never stopped.â You tell him.
âNeither did I.â He promises you, pulling you into his arms.
âBut, that senatorâŚâ You murmur, running your hands up the cool plastoid.
âJust a friend who hates Palpatine as much as we do.â He smiles, softly.
You nod, trusting him. He rests his forehead against yours, closing his eyes, breathing you in.
âI missed you so much.â Your voice breaks and he crushes his lips to yours.
Finally.
You run your hands up the plastoid armor until you reach his curls, curling your fingers through them. He sighs into the kiss, his lips slightly trembling like he may cry. Pulling away only slightly, to make sure heâs alright, heâs looking down at you sadly, tears in his eyes.
âWhat is it?â You whisper.
âIâm just so angry with myselfâŚâ He whispers back. âI should have been here⌠I could have stopped itâŚâ
âFox⌠letâs not do this right now.â You murmur. âLetâs just be here. Weâre both okay. Weâve been apart long enough⌠I promise you, this wasnât your fault. Letâs just be together and then we can figure out the rest, alright?â
âYouâre rightâŚâ He nods, smiling down at you, starting to lean in to kiss you again.
A knock on the door tears you apart again. With a groan, you pull away.
âDonât go anywhere.â You smile at Fox.
âNever again.â He promises you.
Dragging yourself away from Fox, you answer the door, finding a panting Thorn and Stone, trying to catch their breath. Stomach in knots, you quickly glance over to Fox.
âWhat is it?â Fox is instantly at your side.
Thorn and Stone glance at each other, clearly not wanting to be the one to deliver what is obviously not good news.
âIâd rather not ask again.â Fox steps in front of you, protectively.
âNell escapedâŚâ Thornâs eyes shoot to you.
âHow is that possible? General Skywalker and Commander Tano had her.â Fox asks them.
âShe was with a Sith.â Stone tells Fox.
âA Sith?â You ask, confused and Stone and Thorn nod.
Itâs becoming more and more clear that you truly did not know Nell at all. Your friend turned out to be a terrorist and now, a Sith sympathizer? You think back to her threat before Skywalker took her away.
Youâre going to regret thisâŚ
Her words ring loudly in your head and as if you and Fox never spent all that time apart, Fox reads your face and tucks you into his side.
âYou two are to stand outside her door. I want a constant watch right here. No one comes in and no one goes out unless itâs run by me. Is that clear?â Fox switches into his authoritative voice and under normal circumstances, youâd be turned on by it.
Right now, youâre actually a little afraid. Youâd heard how awful the Sith were if you stood in their way. With no hesitance, Thorn and Stone nod and Fox gives you a reassuring squeeze before stepping away to speak into his comm.
âDonât you worry. We deal with this shit all the time.â Stone nods to you, trying to reassure you.
âYou know, when weâre not arresting you.â Thorn teases you, trying to lighten the mood, which you appreciate.
You give him a small smile and lean against the armrest of your couch. Fox looks up, startled, all of sudden. Before you can ask him whatâs wrong, thereâs a loud âBOOMâ, and youâre thrown against the wall unexpectedly. As you start to lose consciousness, you think you see someone in a speeder outside where your balcony used to be, wielding a red lightsaber.
Obviously Hound has Grizzer. Grizzer is the most perfect good massiff doggo. The GAR wants all massiff handlers to have strict rules with them, but Hound totally lets Grizzer sleep with him in bed at night and buys him extra treats when he can.
Fox has fish. They might not seem very interesting, but he has four fish, Wiggles, Spike, Lily, and Grizzer Junior, and he loves each of them. He made sure to get fish that would thrive in an appropriate tank with lots of places to hide. He has a massive tank and takes meticulous care of them. He likes to make sure they can also see holomovies when he puts one on.
Thire has a runyip named Tip Tap because of the little noises she makes when she walks around. She is fluffy and he won't buy himself many nice things, but he buys her a particular type of shampoo so she can always feel her best.
Thorn has a tooka named General because this girl is totally in charge. General likes to help Thorn eat his dinner whether he likes it or not. While some tookas do not like going for walks on a leash, General loves the chance to go for a walk in a fancy collar and tries to beg strangers for head scratches.
Stone has a ysalamiri named Claws. Despite his name, Claws is very cuddly and gentle. Stone put various shelves and ramps along the walls of his quarters so Claws can climb and get off the ground, mimicking the trees on his native planet. When Thorn brings General over, she climbs up with Claws and they nap together.

How do you think the clones would react to learning about Anakin seeing Palpetine since he was a kid?
Because I can either see âThis seems logical and even though it feels wrong Iâm sure itâs fineâ (it was not fine) or âGeneralâŚwtf man. Like Iâm sorry but are Jedi, like, deathly allergic to red flags and common sense? Because I feel like thatâs what Iâm getting from thisâ
Either way I just keeping thinking about it and about that one comic where Sheeve peeve threatens the Jedi to have Anakin see him when he was like, what? 12? And then takes him to a bar in the lower levels to just be like âYeah so there is slavery here too! But donât worry I will keep promising to fix this for the next few years and then never do anything about itâ
oooh I think it really depends on the clone! Like I think there are plenty who are going to be like "hmm feels weird but also I am a child soldier I have no baseline for what's normal and what's not, plus this is the Chancellor of the Republic we pledge our lives too! It's probably fine." (I think the big stickler for them would be if they found out that Palpatine demanded essentially that it be without Obi-Wan there and that's when they start getting weird about it.)
I do think that there are some with stronger personalities that would make a lot of jokes about how weird it is, but in general idk as much as I wish someone had noticed how weird shit was, from the outside it sort of? Looks like a normal mentorship thing? (key word here being sort of lol)
Honestly I'm ngl I don't actually think that the Corries are treated super shittily by Palps or the Senators (not that they are treated well but I don't think they are being killed left and right) HOWEVER I do think if anyone was gonna be like, "damn their friendship is a little weird - wait palpatine has been having private meetings with him for HOW LONG?" it would be the corries who spend the most time with palpatine and see his two sidedness much more directly than anyone else does imo
THAT COMIC THOUGH it makes me want to gnaw through wood for a lot of reasons... the fact Mace and Obi-Wan were wary and tried to stop it but in the end were forced to be like well we'll see where this goes.... also just I think about that comic so much cause you see so many early seeds of how Palpatine has manipulated his thinking and values! Palpatine ofc wants to fix things but he can't bc of the senate!! It would be better if only one person was in control of everything then things would get done!! Very evil, very devious, I want to swaddle Padawan Anakin in a blanket
A round alarm clock rang next to him, making him cover his face with his pillow and groan in frustration. âI donât want to go to work,â Mayday complained, tugging his blanket even closer to him. Being part of the Coruscant Guard who was assigned to the call centre on the Republicâs capital planet, the idea of dealing with madness from his callers makes him gag.
Trained as a sniper back on Kamino, he was the cream of the crop, literally. Like the rest of his brothers, Mayday has tanned skin and brown eyes, with his hair dyed blond and tied into a high ponytail. Despite that, he was given one of the worst jobs that a clone could not dream of. Dealing with idiots on comlinks.
Every single day of his life, Mayday had to deal with a huge tumour inside his head whenever someone called him. He felt like cutting the end of the line, but at the same time, he didnât have any other choice. If he complains to his superiors, such as Admiral Tarkin, he might get assigned to the worst job in the Grand Army of the Republic, cleaning duty. Thatâs the last thing he wanted in his life.
But for now, he had to put on a straight face and head to work. Mayday grabbed his red-painted armour that was hanging on the side of his bunk and put it on, before wearing his helmet. He got out of his quarters and headed to the mess hall, pouring himself a cup of black caf.Â
Another day, another caf, he said to himself, as he sat down on his desk and opened his comlink while holding his mug when he felt a sudden pat on his pat.Â
âHey Mayday,â Harley spoke, grinning at him. âI see you look sleepy, as usual.â
âShit, Harley,â he shouted, almost spilling his caf on his armour. âDonât scare me like that next time.â
âOh cheer up, Mayday. Youâre so uptight sometimes.â
He rolled his eyes at his sister as he focused on the computer screen in front of him. Harley and Mayday were quite close together, their friendship going back to Kamino where they were both in the same batch.
Unlike Mayday, Harley was a clone of Krystal Mereel, who had darker skin, a flat nose, and frizzy hair, which was dyed in pink and blue to match her favourite comic book character, who was a popular villain. She was cheerful and feisty, who tries her best to give positive vibes to her brother, despite not asking for one.
That doesnât mean he hates her, though. They do love each other, but at the same, he gets annoyed by her never-ending speech about things that he doesnât even want to hear about every second.
âMayday,â she snapped her fingers constantly in front of his face, catching his attention. âAre you there?â
âYes, Harley, Iâm here,â he answered, deadpanned. âAlso, donât you have a job to do right now?â
âIâll do it later,â complained Harley, sitting beside him. âBesides, life is too short to worry too much on small things, you know.â
He just sighed at her remarks. As much as she makes a good point, their superior, Commander Fox, would have a big headache dealing with a slacker like her. As Mayday scrolled through the HoloNet, he received his first call from someone. Oh my God, I wonder whoâs calling right now?
âCoruscant Call Centre, how can I help you?â he replied to the call, with a fake smile plastered on his face. He prays for the call to end as soon as possible, but alas, that is only a dream that is unachievable for a clone like him.
âHey, is this Coruscant Call Centre?â a deep, male voice asked, which made one of Maydayâs eyes twitch. No, this is the Childrenâs Department, thank you very much.
âYes, sir,â he refrained himself from making a sarcastic comment in the morning. âThis is the Coruscant Call Centre. How can I help you, sir?â
âUh yeah, I think I have a situation here.â
It better be an urgent one, or Iâll kick your ass. âWhat kind of situation, sir?â
âWell, you see, I just returned home when I found a tooka destroying my couch.â
Harley and Mayday exchanged looks of amusement and held in their laughter. âWell, sir, thatâs tookas for you. They love scratching things, especially couches.â
âYeah, well, thatâs not my tooka.â
âWell, in that case, sir, may I suggest you call animal control? Iâm sure they know how to address this problem.â
âOh, well, alright then. Thank you for your time then.â
As the line was cut off, both of them burst into laughter as Mayday filled up another cup of caf. âI must admit, that was hilarious.â
âYeah,â Harley laughed along. âI mean, a tooka somehow ending up in your house and ruining your couch? That makes a good comedy on the NecFlic.â
âI agree with you, Har, know nowadays, itâs difficult to find good series down there, if you know what I mean.â
âThat is true,â she shrugged, chewing on her toffee sweets that she stole from Thornâs candy bowl, without anyone noticing. âNowadays, itâs just lousy sequels for lousy movies and cancellation of actually good series.â
âYeah, like what happened to Days Ahead? That was the best sitcom, but NecFlic decided to make the second âKissing Sceneâ movie instead. I mean, that movie was shitty and problematic.â
âLetâs not talk about that movie,â she scoffed. âRomantic comedy, my ass. It wasnât even that good anyway.â
âYeah,â he smiled, when he received another call, which made him breathe. âCoruscant Call Centre, how can I help you?â
âHey, is this Coruscant Call Centre?â a high-pitched, male voice spoke. Mayday blinked a couple of times before he could answer his question that was asked millions of times. He was a few seconds away from tossing his comm right across his room, but that would spell decommission for him and his job.
âYes, this is Coruscant Call Centre. How can I help you, sir?â
âJust wondering, but what do you do for a living?â
âSay that we shove peopleâs ass for a living,â Harley mouthed, inserting her fist inside her mug.Â
âWell, sir,â Mayday decided to ignore his sisterâs remarks. âWeâre here to answer your calls and do our best to help you out with your problems, big or small.â
She slapped her forehead and let out a groan. This is going to be the most exciting conversation Iâll ever watch outside NecFlec.
âOh, well, I have a couple of problems that I need help addressing.â
âOkay then, sir,â Mayday took a deep breath. âWhat kind of problems do you have for us to solve?â
âWell, itâs about this girl I saw in school,â the recipient began his story. âHer name is Veronica, and sheâs really popular in school and I think I have a humongous crush on her. How do I let her know that I love her?â
For a moment, Mayday was speechless. This man, no, not a man. Heâs too young to be a man. Well, this boy dares to call up the Coruscant Call Centre, which was meant to reach out for urgent help, to ask for dating advice to woo a girl that he hardly knows? His fish clenched on his desk and the smile on his face disappeared.Â
He only had two hours of sleep. He just finished another round of coffee, and he needs another right now so that he can give a smack on the boyâs head. Some people just want to create chaos in the world, and this boy is the perfect epitome of the word.
âLook, kid, if you want dating advice, then go ask someone else,â Mayday scolded the boy. âThis call is only meant for emergencies, okay? Good day.â
He cut the line and took off his helmet, rubbing his temple with his fingers. Harley, who was watching the entire skit, chuckled at his misfortunes. âWell, Mayday, I hate to say I told you so, but yeah, I told you so.â
âDo you ever shut up, Harley?â he replied, in a snarky manner. âDo you?â
âAdmit it, Mayday,â she nudged his ribs. âYou could have put down that call when you had a chance but no, you decided to go on and ended up with some stupid kid who has hormonal problems, Mayday, so yeah. You should have ignored them.â
âWhatever, Harley. Itâs not like you helped me or something.â
She chuckled at his remarks. âOh, please. I asked you to tell him that we shove peopleâs asses for a living but you didnât do that.â
âYeah, yeah, whatever. As I said before, you donât help that much anyway.â
Harley tightened her lips. He knows what heâs referring to, and she had no other choice but to bring it up in their conversation between them. âLook, Mayday, if itâs about that stupid mug that you drank coffee with every day then-â
âActually, yes, it is about that mug that you broke it.â
âOh my gosh, vod, it was an accident. I didnât mean to break your favourite mug.â
âWell, you did,â he turned to his computer. âAnd you owe me a new mug because of your carelessness.â
âMayday, I got you a new mug two weeks ago,â Harley pointed out. âI mean, it even has your name written on it twice.â
He glanced at his mug, which says âMayday, Maydayâ twice and twitched his lips. âWell, itâs a terrible mug that you got me.â
She jabbed her fingers on his forehead, prompting him to yelp dramatically. âOuch!â
âI didnât even hit you that hard,â Harley stuck her tongue out. âYouâre such a drama king.â
âAnd you're the most annoying piece of shit Iâve ever encountered.â
âWhy thank you, smartass.â
âYouâre welcome, asshat.â
Before Harley could open her mouth, she and Mayday heard another phone call. With another sigh, he took a seat and answered the call. âCoruscant Call Centre, how can I help you?â
âMy tooka is stuck on the tree,â an old lady told him. âCould you help me, please?â
He gave a glance to Harley, who bobbed her head in approval and gave a thumbs up. âIn this case, I will redirect you to the fire department of Coruscant so please be-â
âActually, sir, my grandson tried to climb the tree to grab my cat and now heâs also stuck as well.â
Both Mayday and Harley gleamed at each other before he composed himself from dying of chortling. Well, I am confident that the fire department will be entertained for the whole day.
