Despite some recent stormy weather the Crocus speciosus (Bieberstein's crocus, large autumn crocus) and Crocus speciosus 'Albus' are flowering in the meadow. This cormous perennial flowers in the autumn and the leaves develop after flowering.

I thought I was going to lose my Dragon Scale Alocasia in the move but she ended up not only pulling through but producing a bunch of pups! She has been so fun to watch this past week: three unfolded first leaves, one new leaf on the old one, and there are two more pups to unravel still. I could not be more thrilled with her right now!
