Copperstar - 58 Moons - Cis Tom, he/him currently, but can be Up To Adopter - Crowsong’s Ex
Appearance: A lithe, long-legged bengal cat with striking amber eyes.
Traits: Stern, Ambitious, Private, Intelligent, Skilled (in terms of hunting/fighting), Cocky
Born in BreezeClan, Copperstar always knew he was destined for great things. He was mentored by the leader while an apprentice, and often received compliments on his work-ethic and skills. Because of this, it was no surprise when he was made deputy at an impressively young age, and fit into the position like a bee fits into it's hive.
He led a generally productive life, focusing on his Clan and Clanmates, while presenting a stern persona when required. He began dating Crowsong a few moons after the small black cat lost everything, and the two of them quickly grew into a power couple. Crowsong improved in his mental health, and he and Copperfox challenged each other in the best of ways. When Harestar died suddenly (some say under mysterious circumstances), Copperstar became leader and swiftly chose Crowsong as his deputy.
However... something changed. Crowsong grew more skittish and suspicious, and Copperstar did little to quell any suspicions his mate may have had. It all reached a boiling point on the day of a solar eclipse, Crowsong claiming that Copperstar had been lying to all of them and aiding other Clans behind their backs - using BreezeClan resources to do so. He also suggested that Copperstar killed Harestar.
As the sun was eclipsed fully by the moon, Crowsong attacked a dumbstruck Copperstar, slashing his throat and claiming his life. Imagine his shock when Copperstar rose, proven to have been gifted nine lives by StarClan, and claimed his eye in revenge. However... Copperstar couldn't bring himself to kill Crowsong, exiling him instead of claiming a life for a life.
After that, things went back to relative normalcy for BreezeClan - though they were shocked when a gathering revealed Crowsong to be ShadeClan's leader. Intent on keeping their secrets secret, Copperstar instructed no one to say anything, and a few moons later, Crowstar was gone from ShadeClan anyway.
Anything after this, including Copperstar's reason for leaving BreezeClan is up to whoever adopts him! They are also completely able to decide if Crowsong's claims were valid, if he really did kill Harestar in a thirst for power!
