Being a bartender has lots of perks. Tips were great but the information you over hear when they just think your a cute little bartender well. It has it advantages. 

There was a certain amount of thrill of working at a bar that served variety of all walks of life. But recently more people from the Brooklyn Precinct have been coming after hours. In particular two detectives on the force. One Steve Rogers and one James ' call me Bucky' Barnes.

Hearing the two men approach the bar, Peter smiles to himself as he reaches up on the top self to get the brand of vodka that Bucky likes. 

" Hey Doll, it's been a while"

Peter giggles a little, turning around and leaning forward to set the bottle on the bar top before reaching to scoop up a glass to pour a double shot of the vodka in the glass. 

He slides it over to Bucky, " It sure has Mr. Barnes. But I remember what you like" he winks at him, before going over to the beer case. Pulling out a bottle that Steve liked, he digs his cap opener out of his back pocket, cracking the lid off before setting it down on a napkin infront of Steve.  " And I know what you like too Mr. Rogers" he flashes Steve a bright smile.

" Thanks Queens. We've had a long one. This will hit the spot."

" Well I'm sorry to hear that fellas. That one burglar still at it?"

" Haven't got nothing to go on. We will get them though. It's only a matter of time"

" I have faith in ya. How about first round on me tonight! Maybe your luck will turn around"

" Aww Pete you don't have to do that."

"Well if your sure..  I guess I could always take ya up on that dinner date"

Steve smiles before nodding toward Bucky. Bucky has a smirk " How does Chinese sound doll? "

Peter leans over the bar top and fixes Steve's tie before reaching over to tuck a strand of Buckys bangs behind his ear. " That sounds fine to me,Jamie, I'm sure I can fit you into my schedule. I'm awfully busy this time of year"

" Yeah? You got another job Pete? What is it ? "

" Oh you know me Steve, a little grand theft auto, little breaking and entering, raiding warehouses... you know the normal. "

They all share a loud laugh.

I should be doing a thousand other things, like writing on my own stories. But I could not stay away from Ama @itsanerdlife​ Tumblr page, because she is brilliant. And I ended up rereading the fantastic series Ever After, that Ama posted last year. And it inspired me to do this moodboard. 

Storyline: Y/N is dumped through a text, drinks some Vodka and decides to get revenge. Instead, she meets Police Officer Steve Rogers and after a drunken night together her life changes forever.

Alrighty folks, here’s the start of one of my absolute favorite series!

In this lovely AU, we find the shenanigans of Officer Steve Rogers (usually accompanied by his right hand man Officer Sam Wilson) as he works the beat of his childhood neighborhood...and deals with a very built and frustratingly handsome civilian named Bucky Barnes.

First of all, I love the way this first part is set up. It smacks you right down in the middle of everything without a lot of exposition but don’t worry, because the author leaves plenty of clues for you to figure out the lay of the land. I also love how various common and mundane cop duties are used to introduce the solid amount of MCU characters that make up the cast of this universe.

Now there’s not too much Stucky here are first (and in order not to spoil, I’ll leave you to figure out why) but boy oh boy is there some thirsty Steve in here. And even better, it’s the kind of thirsty Steve wherein he attempts to be very subtle about his need to oogle one Bucky Barnes but he fails so hard. It’s hilarious and I’m very much here for Flustered Steve. There’s also a bit of smut to tide the reader over and of course, it is written extremely well. It’s not super explicit since this is a Mature rated fic but that in no means stops if from being super steamy.

“What the hell are you doing Hall? You’re not a real detective or anything.” Billy says

“I’m a private I, asshole.”

“Again you’re not real detective.” And steve can’t believe he might have to deal with both Billy and Tommy.

They all end working together. Steve is the resourceful one of the group, Billy is the brains and Tommy is a wildcard.

They do stake outs, stop at diners to look at evidence and get themselves into trouble when they break a little bit of the rules.

Bucky Barnes, weary soldier, illegal immigrant, sarcastic sex worker. Steve Rogers, miracle of science, lonely man, disillusioned cop. Both of them on a collision course in this brave new world, like that's not gonna end in sex and explosions.
