Of course she wouldn't go ahead and ask out right, she ended up accidentally messing with the timeline enough... but the one time she managed to sneak out of the prison that rotten skunk forced her into, she figured she might as well try to be cordial with the locals. And, while she was at it, try and take the first steps towards doing something good with her current predictament.

Word had reached Alexander that the disgraced knight, Sir Galleth, had struck someone down. Without hesitation, Alexander was upon him, swift and relentless, like flies drawn to carrion. Although he generally upheld the right to self-defense, Galleth had a reputation for losing control—and Alexander couldn't dismiss the possibility that this time, the victim might have been an innocent bystander. His ears flattened, his displeasure evident in every tense movement. Alexander's gaze bore into the knight, sharp and unforgiving.

"This had better have been self-defense," he growled, each word heavy with menace, as his piercing glare cut straight through Galleth.
