Sketched out a rosy maple moth to celebrate
Fun fact about moths:
There are many species of moth that drink blood, for example Calyptra pseudo bicolor!
Native to the subtropical and tropical regions of Asia and commonly found in India, this moth species feeds on blood (including human) and fruit juices.
There are at least 10 species of vampire moth all over the world (southeast Asia, Eastern Africa and southern and central Europe) and my favorite is this one, who's name I don't know so if you do, please tell me 😔
I like that unlike many moth species, they can eat after getting the glow up unlike many other species of moth. (Lucky moths, I envy them- haha who said that?)
pls keep in mind that I'm also human (of course I am, what else could I be, a moth? Haha... now that's just silly) and also make mistakes so please correct me if I got something wrong.
went on a little hike today! saw a really cool (unfortunately dead) moth that I’ve never seen before and a happy tree stump :)

today at work there was a pandorus sphinx moth inside!! i got to hold it to take it outside it was so cute and fluffy:) all my coworkers and on of the customers were ducking for cover and screaming their heads off and it made me sad because how is this little guy different from a butterfly? he’s colorful and beautiful and harmless just larger in the body and furry:( his lifespan is two weeks long!! he only eats as a caterpillar and when he hatches from his chrysalis he survives off fat stored from eating as a caterpillar and his sole purpose is to mate and then he dies!!
*sniffle* aw man.... *tears well up in eyes*
