I finally finished a project that I started in may! the concrete in my backyard had developed some "potholes" and I decided to teach myself how to do tiles (incorrectly, I’m sure - I really hope it lasts and doesn’t just start falling apart) to fix it nicely, inspired by some mosaic repair type thingies I’d seen before \o/

some pictures from a few days ago. the moss/forest is so green and healthy-seeming after all this rain, I wish I could share how much nicer it is than just these few photos taken with my phone

does it still count as kintsugi if instead of pottery you’re reassembling pieces of carved wood from a chair? (it’s not actual gold either, just metallic paint)

had the opportunity to try linocut/making a stamp! it’s limited by my lack of drawing ability ofc, but considering it looks not at all like what I envisioned + I’m still fairly happy with the result I think it was a success :)
