Okay, so further posting the old art that I had commissioned back in the day for Digimon Clash.
I find it so funny that due to Digimon Liberator using this character design that just kinda existed with the Digimon Chronicle stuff but never ever was addressed, technically Cool Boy now is a character, after spending 20 or so years as a character design lol
Either way, in the Digimon fanseries I wanted to do based on Digimon Chronicle (see this post and this) when I was like a teen, I decided that this character was actually the older brother of Yuuji. Because, I mean, c'mon, how high is the likelihood of two boys having silver hair if not related.
Back in the day the fan name "Shinji" was floating around a lot. I have no bloody idea where that name originated, but I know it was a common fan name for this character, so I just ran with that, and named him Shinji for that story. And he was the bad guy. xD I mean, technically speaking him being the bad guy makes sort of sense given that he was partnered with Omegamon X, which in the Chronicle lore was kinda antagonistic?
