Was doing research for a drawing and stumbled upon this article detailing an illustrated satire of the westernization of Meiji-era Japan, through the lens of several weird gags featuring weirdly anthro raccoon dogs. As a person who had multiple (non-consecutive) points in their life defined by looking on the internet at galleries of ancient furries bandying their "magic raccoon pouches," this page turned me luminescent - for one, I thought I'd already seen every preserved instance of the subject there was. If thereās one theme that runs through the season itās of Verstappen seemingly being prepared to risk a crash to stop Hamilton overtaking him. In San Marino, Spain, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and on Sunday in Abu Dhabi, Hamilton had to take avoiding action to prevent a collision ā though it wasĀ only in Saudi Arabia that Verstappen was penalised. How, many ask, would a Black person be treated if they drove the same way as Verstappen?
