I love #kimchi! so my dear friend @janineyclai gave me her recipe and I couldn't wait to make it! I started the #brining process with the cabbage .. But realized I had cucumbers and radishes in the fridge. So I brined those and they started sweating quick! I couldn't go to sleep last night so I was up till 3am making my cucumber + radish kimchi .. I have to admit , so far so good! I don't really feel comfortable putting up a recipe a) maybe this a family secret recipe and I'm not trying to disrespect her sharing it /// b) I haven't tried a couple times. Plus I made a few modifications lol .. so give me sometime to get it right and make it my own ... ❤️⚡️

#malfoof (stuffed cabbage rolls) is a Mediterranean dish. The cabbage is rolled with a spiced rice/meat mixture. I personally like substituting the meat for soy meat instead! I use a ton of garlic , cumin and lemon! It's soooo good! I'll post the recipe soon!

Baked Avocado Eggs #ingredients : - 1 avocado - 2 eggs - s/p - red pepper flakes #recipe : - cut the avocados in 1/2 - sprinkle s/p and red pepper flakes - separate yolk from the egg whites - drop yolk in center of avocado - add desire amount of egg whites - bake at 250 for 20min - top off with some Cesar dressing or sriracha aioli ( will post this recipe too) #notes : You don't have to separate the yolk from whites but I like to control the amount of the egg whites that cover my avocado! You can just drop the whole thing in! 🍳⚡️

Dijon Honey Crusted Salmon : #ingredients : - 2 salmon filet - 2tbsp Dijon honey mustard - 2cloves garlic minced - 1cup panko - 1/2 cup chopped parsley - 2tbsp lemon zest - 2tbsp olive oil - salt / pepper #prep : - mix mustard + garlic , et it sit for a bit - mix panko crumbs , parsley , zest and olive oil (mix well) - pre heat oven at 350 #recipe : - season salmon filets on both sides - rub the mustard mixture on one side - then coat the mustard cover side with the panko mixture - flip + repeat ( mustard then panko) - bake on 350 till filets are cooked and crust is golden #sidenote : I like to mix my seasonings - dill or tarragon goes well here , depending on what I'm in the mood for!

#cooking for me is an emotional and therapeutic process. I've been highly stressed at work - that by the time I got home these last couple days .. I had no energy or inspiration to cook for us. now I'm headed to Cali for #grammy weekend .. so there won't be any #cookingwithkader / #cookinginasnap moments till next week 😔 | be patient with me .. Margherita Pizza 🍕🍅🌿| made a #margherita #pizza last night! My all time favorite! #ingredients : - pillsbury thin crust - 2 tomatoes - 12 thick slices of fresh mozzarella - basil leaves - minced garlic - olive oil - tomato marinara / pizza sauce - @flavorgod pizza seasoning - (garlic powder , oregano , basil , s/p if you don't have @flavorgod) #prep : ( read the rest of the recipe on my link in bio) - pre-heat oven - slice your tomatoes thin - slice your mozzarella if it's not pre-sliced - soak garlic in olive oil - flatten your pizza crust on a cookie sheet #recipe : - brush olive oil / garlic mixture on the crust - brush a bit of marinara / pizza sauce lightly - sprinkle spices or @flavorgod - layer mozzarella - layer tomatoes - layer basil - pinch of fresh cracked pepper - place in oven - enjoy! #sidenote : I like pre-made dough because I seriously don't have the time! But when I do - of course homemade is better! I'll make it on a weekend or exerted break one day!
