Made about 800 cookies in the past week (and still decorating some!) to give out in cookie boxes! Never baked this much in my life and Very glad for a break from it for the next few days 😂 Happy Holidays everyone! 💕

I'm so happy these are done! tbh it was fun working with all these different flavors and textures. I made 3 for family, 6 for my coworkers, and the double one is for my besties (they're dating and also live together so like...they share a box lol- tho I couldn'tfor the life of me fit one more cookie in 😭 so its one short and its bothering me SO MUCH)
This year's cookie boxes include:

every year for christmas i bake cookie boxes for my coworkers and every year i try to outdo myself. this was 2022 and ive already begun planning for 2023

We’ve got glazed citrus poppyseed cookies, coconut fudge, marbled tahini shortbread, spiced candied nuts, cookies and cream cookies, and peppermint meringues!!!
It came out so cuteeeee I’m so pleased
I bought candied pears at the grocer on sunday
whole candied pears. they are SO beautiful, I’ll take photos when the light is better, but…god they are so pretty
they came home with me in a double bagged plastic bag of sticky mess and I haven’t felt up to dealing with thhat mess till today and even then I probably should have left it but I was cutting up the candy peel that resulted from a semi-failed batch of olio-saccharum and thought my hands were already sticky so why not…?
anyway those slices are all air drying now
I want to put them in the sand christmas - the whole clementines will go in whole as I cannot bring myself to cut them up, and some of the pears are also going in whole—even though the seeds are still in—but I just…the thought of slicing it and having the whole fruit in the middle is just such a pretty picture in my head
meanwhile the cut slices look like little gem shards. hoping air drying them will give them a bit of a crust so that I can serve them like lollies on my cookie platter

Cookie boxes 99% done, just need to drop in the chocolate peanut butter balls right before gifting. We've got Joy the Baker's Confetti Cookies and the aforementioned balls, Taste of Home's Cranberry Shortbread Stars, and Bakerella's Chocolate Chip Cookies this year.

When the bake off was nothing but a dot in the womb of our minds, we wanted to create a safe space for the participants to showcase their creativity without an ounce of judgement or favouritism. The pandemic had taken a toll on all of us and we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate life as we live it, right here on Tumblr with you crazy folks!
The Baahubali fandom had brought us together and we wanted to share that bond with the rest of you and make you warm and fuzzy with these sweet treats. And might we just add that this is only the beginning. We have more in store for you in the near future.
We would like to thank all the participants for putting together the most scrumptious, dark, fuzzy, funky, flaky and gooey box of cookies!
