Did you know that there tongues are 2 feet long (in giant anteaters the one in the photo) and they are covered in tiny backward-facing spines and coated with super-sticky saliva. They can flick it in and out up to 150 times per minute to slurp up ants and termites without chewing because they actually have no teeth. These also have one of the lowest body temperatures of any mammal. They have poor eyesight and small ears. They are surprisingly good swimmers and can even climb a bit when needed.
