Feebie is always up in the middle of the night and the sound of her collar drives me crazy. I hear her look out the window because she moves the blinds to do so. I hear her move her pillow and blanket across the carpet. I hear her claws scratch the door when she decides to lay by the bedroom door. I hear her little footsteps going across the random papers I have laying on the floor. I hear her drink her water. I hear her trying to get on the bed. I hear her licking her fur. I hear it all and sometimes I wish I didn’t because I can’t sleep. It is four in the morning. I thought dogs slept during the night? I thought this is why they were mans best friend. I thought they knew when you were sad so they’d give you cuddles and I thought they wag their tails when they saw you after you come home from work and I thought they slept through the middle of the night. Wah. I was wrong. Feebie has changed my mind on so many things that I thought I was ready for.
