The event was highlighted by the inspiring presence of our Chief Guests:

- Mr. Amol Muzumdar, 2025 ODI World Cup-winning Head Coach of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team - Ms. Jemimah Rodrigues, top-order batter for the Indian Women’s Cricket Team & an integral member of the 2025 ODI World Cup-winning team

Their words and presence added immense value to this special occasion.

We were also honoured to have Founder-Director - Mr. Nilesh Kulkarni, Co-Founder and Managing Director - Ms. Rasika Kulkarni, Associate Dean - Mr. Amitava Pal, Chief Operating Officer - Mr. Amit Gupte, IISM, and Director of GICED, Dr. Keyurkumar Nayak present to celebrate this proud moment.

As our students step into a new world and bring their rigour to the sporting ecosystem, we watch on with immense pride and joy, wishing them nothing but continued success and greater heights.

University of Mumbai's Garware Institute of Career Education & Development (GICED) held their convocation ceremony where IISM's toppers across cohorts were felicitated and received their degrees.

Mr. Ameya Uparkar, Ms. Namya Jain, and Ms. Mrunmayee Joshi from the Master of Sports Management (MSM) programme (2023-25 batch); Mr. Shourjo Majumder, Mr. Ritvik Wadhwani, and Ms. Saaz Tandel from the Bachelor of Sports Management (BSM) programme (2022-25 batch); along with Mr. Nripender Hooda, Mr. Naman Ojha and Mr. Abhijeet Kumawat from the Master of Sports Science (MSS) programme (2023-25 batch) were conferred with their respective degrees. 🎓✨

The ceremony was held in the presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. Kuldeep Sharma (National Secretary - Indian Commerce Association, K P B Hinduja Commerce College), Guests of Honour, Dr. Dhanesh Sawant (Senate Member - University of Mumbai) and Dr. Shivram Garje (Dean - Faculty of Science & Technology, University of Mumbai) along with GICED's Director, Prof. (Dr.) Keyurkumar Nayak.

IISM's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Amit Gupte, Associate Dean, Mr. Amitava Pal and Head of Academics, Ms. Avanti Desai also attended the ceremony.

Along with the MSM 2023-25 topper students, few of IISM's sporting stars from the first year & second year batches of Bachelor's & Master's programmes were felicitated for representing the university in the Khelo India University Games 2025 in Rajasthan. 🏅🇮🇳
