University of Mumbai's Garware Institute of Career Education & Development (GICED) held their convocation ceremony where IISM's toppers across cohorts were felicitated and received their degrees.
Mr. Ameya Uparkar, Ms. Namya Jain, and Ms. Mrunmayee Joshi from the Master of Sports Management (MSM) programme (2023-25 batch); Mr. Shourjo Majumder, Mr. Ritvik Wadhwani, and Ms. Saaz Tandel from the Bachelor of Sports Management (BSM) programme (2022-25 batch); along with Mr. Nripender Hooda, Mr. Naman Ojha and Mr. Abhijeet Kumawat from the Master of Sports Science (MSS) programme (2023-25 batch) were conferred with their respective degrees. 🎓✨
The ceremony was held in the presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. Kuldeep Sharma (National Secretary - Indian Commerce Association, K P B Hinduja Commerce College), Guests of Honour, Dr. Dhanesh Sawant (Senate Member - University of Mumbai) and Dr. Shivram Garje (Dean - Faculty of Science & Technology, University of Mumbai) along with GICED's Director, Prof. (Dr.) Keyurkumar Nayak.
IISM's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Amit Gupte, Associate Dean, Mr. Amitava Pal and Head of Academics, Ms. Avanti Desai also attended the ceremony.
Along with the MSM 2023-25 topper students, few of IISM's sporting stars from the first year & second year batches of Bachelor's & Master's programmes were felicitated for representing the university in the Khelo India University Games 2025 in Rajasthan. 🏅🇮🇳
All in all, this was a huge token of appreciation to our students' dedicated efforts in their academic & sporting endeavours. 👏
