Role: Primarily served as an all-weather interceptor from the 1960s through the 1980s.
Speed: Capable of speeds exceeding Mach 2 (approximately 1,525 mph).
Features: Featured a delta-wing design and was equipped with Falcon missiles and a Genie nuclear rocket.
Legacy: Known as the "Ultimate Interceptor," it was the last dedicated interceptor in USAF service.
