Vextherian (VECKS-THERE-IEN) Defintion: A therian (someone who involuntarily identifies as an animal in any way) who does not like when they are actually perceived as or called their theriotype. This person can also be unsure of how they feel about it. This person may have very mild but negative reactions to being called or perceived as their theriotypes (for example, feeling slightly uneasy when referred to as their theriotype instead of a human) or have strong negative reactions to it (high distress when they're called their referred to as their theriotype). This may be paired with contherian (a therian who's human side and animal side are permanently blended together) or may not be. This person IS a therian and identifies as an animal, their inner sense of self may be very strong and certain of what they truly are, or they may not be, but being genuinely seen as that animal by others causes distress or unease. They may feel fully like an animal without a hint of humanity inside their inner identity, but they also do not want to be seen (or fully seen) as their theriotypes. This may apply to only real theriotypes, only mythical theriotypes, or all of them. This person may also feel a sense of desire to be seen as their theriotype until it actually happens. Theriomythic: a therian whose theriotype comes from fiction, mythology, etc. Some people might want to point out to me that "yes but that's not therian it's otherkin", not really, a therian involuntarily identifies himself as an animalistic being, if it is imaginary, as long as it is animalistic, it is a therian. An otherkin unwittingly identifies as an imaginary creature that has some form of anthropomorphic consciousness (use of speech, for example).
