To those people saying Tevan can't be endgame because Buck needs to explore his sexuality. He's done enough exploring, he has sampled the buffet and gone for seconds and mixed flavors and even sampled in places you have no business sampling and with things from janitor's closet. Now he want to settle down at a nice restaurant with one meal for the rest of his life that no else samples.
He wants commitment he wants someone to love. And maybe he didn't sample all sides of the table but he can still explore what he might like with the one meal just switch out salad for fries every once in a while or trying adding pear even if it seems strange. You can get creative and explore with one person. It's probably even better with feelings and trust and love. And it's a safe space. So yeah he may not be at the buffet table anymore but he can still explore. And besides he hasn't been at the buffet table in a long while. he has been searching for that one meal since Abby that's what all these years he was doing with Ali, Taylor, and Natalia he wants to settle down.
You don't tell Straight people they have to explore their options. You don't tell people who come out in high school to explore their options. So why is this different?
Edit: I wanted to clarify cuz I think there might have been a little confusion. I'm not saying Tevan will be endgame its too early in the relationship to know what will become of them (yes I love Tevan and would love for them to end the series together but mostly I just want both Buck and Tommy to be happy) The thing this post was ment to address is the fact that a certain subset of the fandom (not naming names but we all know the ones) have been trying to perpetuate the bi people are all ho's stereotype, some even going as far as to want Buck to cheat on Tommy (leading into another horrible stereotype about bi people being cheaters) just because they don't like a ship. They would all be fine with Buck marrying the first man he dated if it was we all know who but since it isn't it's a problem. Assuming Buck and Tommy aren't endgame (again too early to say one way or another) but assuming they aren't Buck doesn't have to sleep around after they break up he can date seriously like he was doing before, now just with this new part of himself on the surface. He could go on dates with men and women. I stand by my point earlier regardless of who it is or what gender they are Buck wants commitment. Who knows maybe when the show is all said and done he marries a woman but that doesn't negate his sexuality or make this point in his life any less valid. We should just be happy that he is happy and living his best most authentic life. That boy deserves a break. Please be kind to each other and be careful what harmful stereotypes and rhetoric you perpetuate intentionally or otherwise. its harmful. Even if you are doing so with fictional characters and not real people. It still causes harm in the real world.

First off I loved the finale. If you didn't that's fine but I did so let's not have hate in my comments please. I'm not going to say it was perfect or that there aren't things I wish were different cuz that would be a lie. It did feel a lot rushed but to be fair the previous seasons consisted of six episodes all around an hour long so they were working with about 1/4 of what they usually had. That being said for what they were working with it was sold ending.
The main thing I see people having a problem with is that they didn't say 'I love you' and we didn't get a proper kiss.
I'd argue that their relationship is so strong and their love for each other so deep that simply saying I love you is not enough. But they prove it time and time again. By showing up for each other. Even though Crowley was heartbroken Aziraphale left he still dropped everything to help him. You see it in every flashback through their lives together. In the way they consistently choose each other. And if Crowley's speech at the end of season two before he kissed Zira wasn't a love confession I don't know what is. Not to mention Zira asking Crowley to dance during his pride and prejudice inspired stunt to get Nina and Maggie together. The man knew what that meant in the context. Then Zira's speech to God about how Crowley was the best angel during the finale. "Why give me Crowley? why make me complete?" I'd argue they did confess their love in ways that are far better than just saying the words.
The other criticism I saw was that the ending was out of character. What about the two entities who fought for humanity choosing humanity is out of character? Everything they did in previous seasons was so humans could have a chance. And in the end they still got to be together. True it wasn't the same version of them but I like that. I like that they find each other in every universe. That they truly are soulmates. They got what they both wanted most. A life together, free from Heaven and Hell. If they had stayed an Angel and a Demon they would never have truly been free. They would have been waiting for the next apocalypse. Always wondering when heaven or hell would knock on the door and ruin their happy ending. This way they just get to live a happy peaceful life together. They got their cottage in the south downs. They got married and grew old together. I would have loved to see more of a montage of their lives together as Asa Fell and Anthony Crowley similar to the one of their past as Aziraphale and Crowley but I understand that timing wise that wouldn't have worked with what they had to work with. Ultimately I loved the finale. I'm said to be saying goodbye to them though. They have been with me for years. I love this show, it is one of my favorites. But I think it was a suitable ending.
The Tony's are this weekend and here are my thoughts on who I think should win.
Before we get into it I should point out I have not seen every show this season so these opinions are based on what I did see and my knowledge of the performers themselves. And honestly is more an excuse to ramble on about them.
First one of my absolute favorite Broadway Actors. Honestly I love him he can do no wrong in my mind and I am still riding the high from seeing him live on Broadway in April Bryce Pinkham. Now he has only been nominated once before back in 2014 for best leading actor in a musical for originating Monty Navarro in "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" honestly one of my favorite shows. I unfortunately did not see that one live but I don't actually live in New York and at the time was still a child so I couldn't decide I wanted to go to New York and just do it. Anyway not the point. I believe he should have won the Tony for that performance but given that he lost to Neil Patrick Harris for his performance in "Hedwig and The Angry Inch" I suppose I can forgive them.
Now Bryce is nominated again this year for Best Supporting Actor in a musical for his role as The Arbiter in "Chess"
First of all this show is absolutely brilliant and if you haven't seen it yet. Run to the theater before it closes. I am so disappointed It's closing early. I was already planning to see it again when I went in September but alas I cannot 😭
Anyway back to Bryce, he absolutely stole the show for me. His performance was incredible. And he adds such incredible humor to the show. I just love him so much. I have yet to find something he has been a part of that I didn't enjoy and absolutely love his role in particular. I adore him. If you've been on my page for awhile you obviously know I love Stolas I've posted about Helluva Boss before. Superhero is another incredible show he did that was technically Off-Broadway 2019 the cast recording is on Spotify I highly recommend. Bryce plays the lead role of Jim who is the superhero . "Not like the Movies" is probably one of my favorite songs on the album. "My dad the superhero" is also fantastic that wasn't sung by Bryce though that was Kyle McArthur who played Simon. The entire cast is incredible so listen to that one if you haven't.
This post is already getting long and I've only talked about Bryce so if you want me to make another post rambling about how amazing Bryce is I can do that but let's talk about the other people I think should win.
Also from Chess we have Nicholas Christopher for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a musical . Holy shit where to start, I was not as familiar with him going in to see Chess. I feel like I might have heard his name in relation to a show. Oh he is playing King George in Hamilton right now. Kind of thing. But after seeing him in Chess oh my gods did he absolutely blow me away. He stole the show for me as much as Bryce. I knew going in Bryce would be one of my favorites. Full disclosure I went to Chess to see Bryce and to a lesser extent Aaron Tyvett. But Aaron it was more he would be cool to see at some point but he's not one of my favorites. I do like him. Anyway back to Nicholas, holy shit. The talent of this man. He blew me away so much that after he had been on stage for maybe five minutes I was already sitting there thinking damn I love you. He made my favorites list so fucking fast after five minutes of one show. And by the end I was hooked. I need to see you again. He after one performance got himself on my list of actors that I will buy the tickets just because you're in it and I don't care if you are standing perfectly still on an empty stage in the most boring costume reading the phone book in a monotone voice completely emotionless. The most boring wtf why would anyone think this should be a show it's a terrible kind of thing that I would never in my life choose to pay money for but just because you are in it I'm there. There are not many of those. Bryce is one of those and I have a handful of others. Anyway to make that list after one performance is a testament to his talent. Especially cuz I'm a big old theater nerd. I love Broadway. Love musicals and plays and all that Jazz ( yes that is meant to be a Chicago reference, it doesn't have to be but with me it is)
Anyway if you know me you know I know a lot of performers and a lot of shows so making it on my favorite list is saying something. Which doesn't mean much to them since I'm not important but just painting a picture for y'all to understand.
So yeah long story short Nicholas Christopher is amazing and I think he should win. Also he is the sweetest person ever. When I staged doored at Chess he talked to everyone and took pictures with us all. He must have been out there for at least an hour. And when I met him he was so sweet. He signed my playbill. And I happened to have a Stolas sticker on my phone and so he saw it and he like I see you're a Bryce fan too. Which okay first off you know enough about your costar to not only know vaguely that he voice acts or that he's in a popular animated series or even his character name or the show title. But to know his character on site when you see a small sticker on a random fan phone case. Then you choose to actively acknowledge it and then seem genuinely happy when said fan of course says yes I am and starts telling you about how much they loved him in this show but also how "Gentlmans guide to love and murder" is one of their favorites. To which he replied you must have adored him in this show. Which okay you are adorable for using adored but yes I did. But that comment tells me he knows enough to know Gentlmans guide to know that Monty and the Arbiter are similar character types and have sort of a similar role and comedic style. The best part is there are no cameras, and Bryce is not out there. He didn't stage door which I was a bit disappointed by but I'll catch him sometime. So the point is there is no reason for this to be performitive the only person close enough to us to hear what we were saying was the security guard. He could have not said anything about it and I wouldn't have thought anything of it because it is something most people wouldn't notice. But he noticed it and chose to acknowledge it making that moment about more than just him. Honestly that just makes me want to support him more because it shows that beyond just being an incredibly talented performer he is a genuinely kind person and supportive of his fellow performers. That is the energy we need more of. He opened that door and seemed genuinely happy I had such nice things to say about Bryce.
Lastly from Chess Hanna Cruz was nominated for best Supporting actress in a musical. And yes she was only on stage for 23 minutes but what a 23 minutes. She is wonderful. To be nominated for a Tony with only 23 minutes of stage time during a show that is almost 3 hours long. 2 hours and 40 minutes to be exact . But to blow everyone away in 23 minutes that they nominate you for a Tony is insane and incredible. That speaks for itself I feel like. And honestly it is well deserved. She was phenomenal as Svetlata. Such a mind-blowing performance.
Honestly this entire cast was incredible and I thought the show was amazing. I'm surprised it wasn't more popular.
In the category or Best Leading actor in a play the obvious and In my opinion the correct choice is Nathan Lane for Death of a Salesman. That is such a beautiful show and the way he played it was so incredibly moving and heartbreaking. Which it should be. It's one of those shows everyone should see once in their life. And this cast is just phenomenal. Nathan Lane is a legend for a reason.
Continuing talking about Death of a Salesman Laurie Metcalf for best featured actress in a play. Another incredible talent. She was perfect in this show. I think she deserves the win.
Christopher Abbott should also win best actor in a featured role for Death of a Salesman. This cast is just spectacular
Best performance by an actress in a Leading role in a musical. Sarah Chase smigadoon. She is amazing and so fun in this role.
I think Smigadoon should win for best musical. It is just such a fun show and a real love letter to golden age musicals which is just everything to me. I couldn't stop smiling the entire time. Another show I would love to see again if I can.
Best revival of a play, Death of a Salesman hands down
I just saw an anti bucktommy post where someone was saying Tommy just wanted casual. And it was the Abby situation all over again.
First of all Tommy is nothing like Abby. Buck persued Tommy where as Abby stalked Buck and then asked him out. And Tommy has continually shown up for Buck and Abby didn't always and then she ghosted him and didn't even have the decency to break up with him.
Besides in what world is letting your partner set the pace just wanting casual? Also if the comment about him just trying to keep up is anything to go by casual is not happening.

If we are bring back old guest stars like Lou's Tommy in more permanent capacities I'm gonna need Sasha Roiz to return as Lou Ransone ASAP.
I'm going to need this Duo again immediately. They are iconic.
Athena and Lou had such a fun dynamic and he was such a fantastic character. Lou was a more important character than Tommy to begin with he was in 5 episode as a significant role vs. Tommy was in flashbacks in 3 and mentioned a couple of other times. Like don't get me wrong I love Tommy but If they can bring him back with no ties to anyone really anymore and make him a love interest (Teven 4 the win) then they can bring back Athena's detective friend.
Plus I just love Sasha Roiz, so bring back Lou please ABC.
I just got this comment on my most recent Tevan fic and I'm fine with you not liking my ship, It's cool but what I'm not understanding is why you're reading it. This is not really a hate comment (I did get one of those once it sucked this is not that.). I wonder why you read a fic clearly tagged a ship you don't enjoy and then take the time to comment. I'm not entirely sure what you mean the fic should have been an email. Do you just not think people should post fics where ships aren't cannon endgame? Too many ships to count on AO3 aren't cannon most were never cannon heck some the characters never even met in cannon or aren't even from the same universe. If we fics writers limited ourselves to cannon there would be almost no fics. The fic is clearly tagged.
And to the they'll break up, they are thriving babes. They are having a romcom moment. There is no reason for them to break up. Maybe they won't be endgame (although i hope they are I love them so much) but they are happy for now and we can just enjoy that. Just read what you enjoy. I'm not saying you have to love my ship, just pay attention to tags, this was clearly tagged Tevan and it's okay to skip a fic you won't enjoy. I just think it's kinda funny, should I be offended by this? I'm not sure what the commenter wanted to accomplish but alright good for you buddy.
Ps. I write for more than Tevan generally speaking but right now Tevan has a chokehold on me and that probably all you're getting for a while so if thats not what you want my fics are not for you and that's okay. Read something you will enjoy. life is too short to spend time doing anything you don't like.
I just love how i see all this hate towards Tommy Kinard one of the most loyal, kind, genuine, and good people. Instead of towards Gerrard who is playing prejudice bingo and winning. This man is a bigot in all the ways you can be but we don't hate him. No we hate Tommy who is one of the most genuinely good people ever. Please make it make sense. Point your hate is a valid direction please.
I've seen people hate more on Tommy than Margaret and Philip Buckley. I know they got a redemption arc but they deserve some hate as well. I would argue they were forgiven to easily but that's me.
Hate Councilwoman Ortiz for taking Mara away from Hen and Karen and revoking there foster licence.
Hate Ramon and Helena Diaz for instead of calling Eddie just jumping on a plane and then proceeding to take his son with them. Granted in was what Chris wanted but I wonder if given time to calm down and without the Diaz's there he would have decided to stay. Maybe Buck could have talked his feeling through with him and he might have changed him mind if he wasn't thinking about thing so emotionally fuelled and impulsively, granted his is a teenager and that's kinda what they do, so maybe not.
Point is hate someone who deserves to be hated not Tommy who does not deserve it.
Most of the hate towards Tommy isn't even about Tommy anyway. It's the toxic Buddie shippers who hate that Buck has a boyfriend who is not Eddie. I'm not saying all Buddie shippers are toxic cuz some of y'all are fine but the ones who are loudest on my dash are fucking toxic.
There is absolutely nothing to hate Tommy Kinard for. And Buck and Eddie are just friends, Eddie is straight. Ryan has said that Eddie is Hetrosexual and there is nothing to indicate otherwise in cannon. Buck is dating Tommy and thriving. Eddie is happy for them. You are seriously going to have a problem with the first relationship Buck has ever had that is genuinely good just because it's a guy who isn't Eddie. Come on people enjoy your ship that's fine. But don't be a dick about ours.
And please remember to tag your anti tommy kinard posts with #antitommykinard. Blocking the tag only helps if people use it.
