My reaction to the Mysterious Construct in Age of Imprisonment
I fucking love the is funky little war machine. He’s got huge puppy dog eyes, he’s an ancient weapon of mass destruction, he’s got little cat paws, he can turn into a fucking rocket powered laser bird. He’s got a little korok friend who is more bloodthirsty than he is and they both just kinda follow each other around cause they’re pals.
I’ve got my own headcanon about what he is to tie him into my Final Fight comic also! If Link has the Hero’s Spirit, then maybe he has similar powers to the Spirit Stone Mineru has! Perhaps, like how Zelda can send an avatar of herself through time to give Link Recall, Link sent a little bit of his spirit back in time with the Master Sword shard to possess the construct!
That’s not true in the game of course, but I like having both Link and Zelda having more character agency in their respective games. Makes them feel more like a team when they help each other out!
