Congress responded like someone told them the WiFi was down.

Mike Johnson scolded the lawmakers, not the threat.

No outrage.

No defense of the institution.

Nothing.

If Congress won’t defend itself from execution rhetoric, it’s not not going to defend us.

It proposes a merging of the United States and Israeli militaries and a increase in the military budget to 1.6 TRILLION DOLLARS. I contacted my reps with this script I wrote and I wanted to share it if you wanna contact yours and don't know what to say or want a starting point - whatever you prefer. I played up the "oh but what about how this affects US citizens" type of thing, but feel free to modify in any way. I just thought that it would make them listen more.

Growing Pains

Kinda encapsulates all of my big emotions about graduation, going to college soon, and growing up. Skull is death/fear, teddy is childhood, pics represent the memories I’ve made with friends/friendships, and grad cap is graduation/adulthood approaching.
