@sunlit-selkie Ah thank you! I really need to do memory training, I forget stuff so much! My husband told me "You know this movie we watched ten years ago". Me: "Ten years ago means I won't even remember the premise of the movie." I swear, I can play a video game, not think about it five years and completely forget 80 % of the plot. But yeah, the whole plot of Elden Ring seem to center around becoming one's consort as Elden Lord. The Elden Lord is the one who can become the consort to an Empyrean or something. But why do they need consorts to rule?! Wasn't Marika being unhappy with everything the whole reason for the shit to happen? She had three marriages, and the last one was her marrying herself and uh, okay, that didn't solve anything, it only got cursed children to come out of the marriage which for some reason were worthy enough to became empyreans! Oh man, let me just check the "Gods ruined everything" on my bingo card ^^ Honestly, FromSoft says "Elden Ring has a far more coherent lore" and I am sitting here and think that Dark Souls was 100 % more coherent than Elden Ring.

i want to write an au where jo does go to europe instead of amy, but that's not the focus of the story, anyways its an amylaurie story, but the thing is laurie was still in college wasn't he? when amy left to europe, and then proposed, like what? 4 years later, a year before amy went back to concord, i think it'd be interesting to see their relationship develop without jo around but all of their family around
but the other matter would be laurie's proposal to jo, would he propose before jo left or would he go to europe after he's done with college? and you know, go back to concord after she rejects him
or without jo around would he get over it? you know like he said, naturally
