[!] i know its ic~ I was responding the way joon would, lol. HE was explaining it? if that makes sense.
This is partially in response to an earlier confession about the word ‘Pooka’ and some findings…
The puca (alt. spelling pooka) is a creature from Irish folklore. It means ‘goblin’, and referred shapeshifting beings that often took the form of animals, including rabbits. They were often large and had dark fur. Its legend varies slightly throughout Ireland and other locations around the world.
‘Puca’ is said to be derived from the Old Norse word ‘puki’ or ‘pook’, meaning ‘nature spirit’. They live in mountains and hills, and were benevolent beings if treated well.
Sounds a bit like a Bunny we know, huh?
Interestingly enough, pucas often turned into black horses, ones which have a description that matches Pitch’s Nightmares quite closely…

I (as a Slytherin) put Jack into Slytherin because he's ambitious, although he at first refused being a guardian, it was because he didn't truly understand it, by the end he was eager. Being Reckless (a Gryffindor trait) is also commonly noticed in Slytherins. Jo once even explained how closely the two houses were. Two sides of the same coin. So I believe Jack could have been in either, I personally put him in Slytherin because it's my house and because of his ambition.
Hi, I'm the Confessception grey face who just sent you one, to further my point (this is in a different one since the big four are no longer allowed) Another Reason why Jack wasn't in Gryffindor was to save that spot for Merida, whose movie was titled 'Brave'
Hello, confessception anon!:D I'm going to answer this as a normal message, because yah know the rules, and thanks for following them *hugs you and gives you a green balloon* Yeah, it's because in my opinion Big Four is not RotG in my opinion. It's true Jack was sent for the Slytherin for those reasons. In my opinion I see him as a Gryffindor:D I see why people will give Merida that title. Though, the Brave movie title so I believe from an analyst for Brave was that the reason it was titled that instead of the, "Bear and the Bow." The moral is that you can be brave do unselfish duties to save someone or superhero stuff like that. There's the other brave where you set goals to do dangerous stuff. So, yup that's the reason they put Jack in Slytherin to fit with the crossover...

To the anon who isn't feeling the magic of the film as much as they used to... I'm glad there was a confession like this. I thought I was alone on this one. After going through tumblrs, I felt that I watched RotG too analytically, looking out for little things people picked up rather than enjoying the story. I hope the next time you and I get to see it it'll be really magical!
In the art book, Bunny's section mentions that his design incorporated kangaroo elements so his anatomy would be suited for both standing upright as well as hopping on all fours. For me, knowing this makes the whole kangaroo joke even funnier! Also the kangaroo is one of two Australian animals that can't walk backwards well (the other is the emu). And hope is about looking ahead, so it really fits!
In reply to that confession about Tooth having insect wings: I believe that it was to make her look more like a fairy, and not strictly a bird. I also thought her wings were based off a dragonfly and a quick google search on dragonflies revealed that the family name for dragonflies, Odonata, comes from the Greek word for... 'tooth'! Apparently they believed at one point that dragonflies had teeth! More than appropriate for the Tooth Fairy, right?
